Lost among the easily distinguishable Millennium classics lies this little gem. This episode really pulled me into it. I don't know if season 3 had an Emmy video that was distributed for it but this episode certainly should have made that cut. It's just a good story whether it was Millennium or not. It's a very believable episode and I like that. I really have no idea what the title means in relation to the episode though. It is a very detailed episode from start to finish. The actor who plays Max Brunelli, the bad/good guy, did a wonderful job of looking both menacing and comforting. I liked Frank's very believable profile of the crime and its players.

The actual direction of this episode was also very good. The scene where Brunelli is shopping at the grocery store was shot really interesting. I liked how the camera kept rotating from the outside of the store and there was no audio needed because you knew exactly what was going on. At the end when Brunelli goes outside to get help and gets struck by a car I thought for sure they were going to kill him off. But not good ole reliable Millennium. That ending would have been a more typical ending I think. I felt my eyes watering just a touch(I must of been tired :;): ) when he goes to the door at the very end and there is a gift basket waiting for him. The little girl he saved tosses him a wave and it was just beautiful. A perfect ending to a perfect episode of Millennium.

This episode is an example of why I believe Millennium was the finest show ever to hit the mass market. Had season three had more of these "complete" episodes there may just have been a season 4.
