Profile
A serial killer whose spree with partner Peter (surname unknown) coincided with the anniversary of Melissa Hollis's murder. Among his victims:
Daryl Norcott (his snoring prompted Van Horne to bust down his hotel room door and fatally shoot him), three customers of a grocery store, and Kyle Riley (a mountain biker killed William Tell-style).
Van Horne later held the passengers of a bus hostage, demanding the release of his girlfriend Joni who had been taken into police custody earlier. A shoot-out began, but Van Horne escaped in Emma's car. She drove into a highway embankment, sending her captor head-first through the windshield, killing him.
