Episode Summary

Frank Black and Lara Means, teamed as partners, are pulled into the case of an emotional man who assists unhappy folks carry out well-planned suicides. The two investigators, wondering whether the evidence speaks more of murder than of compassion, become entangled within the ethics of the case while pressured with the job of preventing further death.

Jesse Fanion, was a fairly successful musician and recording artist living in Scottsdale, Arizona around the time that his son Brandt Fanion was born in 1992. During this time he had just finished recording his 2nd solo project and was being looked at by major record labels. Upon the release of "No Regrets", he signed a contract with Capitol Records. Shortly after, he was diagnosed with melanoma cancer and passed away in July of 1994.
