13th April 2001 By Graham P. Smith

I have some sad news for the Millennium Release DVD Petition. This morning I received the following post from 123Petitions.com: Email from 123petitions:

Dear 123petitions.com user, Effective 6 A.M. (Eastern Time) on April 13, 2001, 123petitions.com will no longer be offering any of its free petition hosting services. This means that any petitions that you have created (along with their related signatures) will be removed from 123petitions.com at that time. Effective immediately, 123petitions.com is no longer offering new account signups, new petition creation, or any of its premium services (petition printing and ad-free petitions). We realize that many of you will want to save your existing petition. Just a reminder that you can login to your 123petitions.com account, click "admin" for a petition, and then click "Signature Dump". This will output all the petition's signatures on screen in a pipe ("|") delimited format.

You can then save this data as a text file for your personal use (either by using your browser's "Save As" feature (if available), or by copying the data from the dump screen and pasting it into the program of your choice. You may also wish to import this data into a spreadsheet or database program for further use. The "dump" feature will be available until 6 A.M. (Eastern Time) on April 13, 2001.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
The 123petitions.com team
