Sounds suspiciously like those giant worm creatures in the movie Tremors. Remember that one??? Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward fighting off the sluggy people-eaters....somebody's been watching too many movies...HAHA! :grin:

Yeah, loved Tremors -- somewhat unique mythology and good cast. Sequels, as typical, weren't as good but were still passable, especially the last one, straight to video, about the origins/first appearances of the "graboids."
