The Place of Worship
We've orchestrated our religious needs into formal structures. We have solidified the rituals in tablets of stone.
We have pledged allegiance to the place :
"Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. (22) Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. (23) But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him." Joh 4:21-23 KJVR
It isn't Jerusalem; it isn't the Temple. Have they been transfered to a substitute; another physical location? Is it the rePLACEment?
No, Jesus said, "true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth" and that means whereever they are. They have become the Temple of God.
May the peace of God open our eyes to that which is invisible. (see Rom 1:20 and Col 1:15-16)
Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. (1Ti 1:17 KJVR)
