I finally watched this old black and white French movie about a middle aged working stiff (who is in love witha young woman) goes nuts one day and shoots this leech of a man. Then he doesn't evn leave his apartment as the police try to get at him.Here is the big irony:The guy and the woman he loves are both named Francois (except the woman's name is spelled Francoise). Some interesting stuff in this movie, but I wouldn't have shot Valentin. I would have married Francoise like Francois should have done.It's nice to watch once, but Le Jour Se Leve is flawed at best.http://imdb.com/title/tt0031514/
