Subtitles

We are looking at introducing subtitling and plan to do so by the end of the year.

Why doesn't Sci Fi show the same programming in both the UK and Southern Africa?

The broadcast rights to every programme and film have to be negotiated separately for each territory that they are shown in. Wherever possible we try to acquire the Southern Africa broadcast rights to show a series or film at the same time that we negotiate for the UK rights. Good examples of such successful negotiations are Poltergeist: The Legacy, Lexx and The Outer Limits. Unfortunately though, this is not always possible as the rights are not always available to us for both territories.
