For Millennium Season Three's 22 episodes, Chris Carter returned to bring the series back to its original premise whilst Frank & Jordan Black returned to Washington, D.C. However Frank's friend and colleague Peter Watts became a much more sinister, darker character whilst the Millennium Group itself became further infiltrated by the evil it set out to fight, something which disappointed many fans. Frank Black grew increasingly determined to make the Group accountable for their actions. As divided as fans were, much the same as with Season 2's changes, there were many outstanding episodes.
