I liked Lt. Bob Bletcher, and it was very disturbing to have that character killed.

Yes, me 2. In fact, now that you mencioned, this show is pretty mean with most of the characters! How weird is that? hahaha. 

From what I've heard, actors like being killed off, they are remembered more that way, and then can move on to other things, with maybe a return visit in a dream or something.  Unless of course, it's a show that raised the dead, like Supernatural, or The Walking Dead.
