Here's yet another story that sounds like the opening to a MM episode

Third right foot discovered in Gulf Islands

Three severed right feet have washed ashore on the Gulf Islands in the past six months...

(Hmmm, this one is Canada not Alaska but it's up in Luminary type country. This one is ripe for a whole variety of possibilities -- Are the people whose feet were amputated dead?... Were they dead before or after amputation?... Was it surgical amputation or something much more brutal?...Serial perp assault or just poor medical waste disposal practices?...)

The fact that all of them have been the right foot seems very peculiar. I know it's a 50-50 shot but three right feet washing up on the same beach in a six month time frame? Too much of a coincidence. I would check to see if, if fact, there are any reported missing persons within a 150 mile radius, and hopefully they can obtain a DNA sample from the feet to submit to the State Crime Lab. They should be able to determine if the feet were severed post-mortem or while victim was still alive and kicking.......so to speak.......ok, sorry, that was terrible....:)

From the article it appears that some DNA work has been done but no matches were found with any persons on which the RCMP has data access. Also, they say they've not had any reports of missing persons so it may be that the feet came from loners/homeless/itinerant workers who don't live in the area and wouldn't be missed.

Off topic addition: Hey 'slinger, glad to see you're back mingling with us. How are things in Arkansas these days?

Thanks Celt, pretty busy down here, seems to get busier as my son gets older, always doing something, not a whole lot of free time, work work work, ya know how it is. How are things in your neck of the woods?

Guest Laurent.
Serial perp assault or just poor medical waste disposal practices?

Obviously cannot be a medical amputation since the last foot was found in its sneaker... can't wait to see where this strange affair leads to.

Off topic: Hey Byron! I'm happy to see another Opeth fan on the board!
