  1. Agree with you completely Gotham Queen, I always thought he did a good deadpan Frank Black. Roedecker would have approved!
  2. I wonder why these art exhibitions are only on for such a short time? I would love to have gone but it's far from the UK! I bet @Libby and @Viivi would have found it interesting.
  3. Interesting article by Pamela Chelin of LA magazine on Chris Carter's art exhibition running until March 10th. Pity it isn't for longer but if you can get there, would be a fascinating experience. "The truth is The X-Files creator Chris Carter never intended to put his art out there – into the public eye, that is. For years, he has made art purely for self-expression, which he hangs inside his office in Santa Monica. In Carter’s estimation, that was as public as it was ever going to get. That changed, however, when longtime family friend and LWM gallery co-founder Jim Carter, the son of two-time Academy Award winning production designer and art director Rick Carter, invited him to showcase his art, culminating in The Chris Carter Collection currently being featured until March 10 at the gallery which is located on the cusp of downtown Los Angeles and Boyle Heights." 4. Reminds me a a bit of Jan Hammer and his emotional guitars in the first minute. Eclectic, thanks as always for sharing! 🫠
  5. Thanks Gotham! Enjoy your amazing trip! I skipped the previous booster as I wondered why bother, I hadn't left the house since 2017 except for the odd appointment. None of the previous Covid jabs caused a response that I can remember. If I was going somewhere, especially abroad, I would definitely have my jabs though. Stay safe!
  6. It's an interesting app and free use is nice. WBTV disputed my dispute, so as the quality wasn't much improved, I didn't bother appealing and deleted it from Youtube.
  7. I wondered what this meant, but then realised you had replied to a spammer whose post had been automatically removed! I need more coffee
  8. I attempted to upscale the video (from another source) and publish it to our YouTube channel, but it was automatically rejected on copyright claims. I upscaled it using a free AI video enhancement service available from https://capcut.com but it was disappointing to find that even after processing it was still very low quality. In fact, I think it lost some of its original definition, what there was of it. I trimmed away the bottom VHS recording telltale marks. The AI version had less of Frank's wrinkles and almost no definition of the material of his jacket. Normally when you increase the size of a video, you make the low-quality video artefacts worse, so I was hoping to see more improvement. Either way, I have disputed the claim on the grounds of fair use and it not coming from the remastered source material inferred in the wording of the dispute, and if successful I understand it will become visible, for what it's worth.
  9. Reminds me of eating in at McDonalds. Boom Boom.

  11. I'd be happy with just a standard definition streaming release, to get the show back out there and re-generate interest until a HD remaster would make business sense. With the rapidly increasing use of AI and massive increases in available computing power and efficiency, you would think the cost of remastering standard video in HD would be a lot quicker. If the process is less resource and time-consuming that equates to less overall expense, right? Do you think Disney buying Fox's back catalogue was a good or bad idea from the viewer's perspective?
  12. Thanks Doc! That's interesting, I never knew what that meant. When I have an annual flu jab, I rarely have a response to it. Mad cow disease, a lot less like:
  13. Nasty stuff. You wouldn't want that in your morning coffee! That said, I had a Covid-19 booster last Friday afternoon, and by Sunday night I had such a fever I thought I had Marburg. It was gone though next day but the ache in my arm spread down to my fingers and I could hardly close them. All gone by yesterday though, just a little achey. Unsure if I'd have another one though! 🤔
  14. Sorry I missed your topic Gotham. Yes, I’d never heard of it either until Millennium. Hope that flare up was contained, terrifying virus.
  15. Hard to believe but another Ten Thirteen Day is here. Happy Birthday Chris Carter, wherever you are!
