  1. What did he say about the next X-Files film?
  2. I LOVE Donnie Darko too! I saw it when it first came out and was so excited to discover this film before it caught on. I was actually disappointed when it became widespread big cult thing. Now EVERYONE knows about Donnie Darko . Now they sell Donnie Darko t-shirts, posters, there's even a Frank the Bunny action figure. I'm not sure why it has a cult following, I can't even really explain why I like it so much. I guess it's just unique and well-done enough that it strikes a chord with people.
  3. So, has anyone bought one of these yet? I'm really curious about the "Threads of Mythology" documentary included in the set, but I'm afraid it's only going to be some stupid, 5 minute thing where Carter just explains what happens in the episodes.
  4. I used to babysit on Friday nights and the two of us would watch The X-Files together. Then, when Millennium premiered, they bumped The X-Files to Sundays and gave Millennium it's Friday night timeslot (in the U.S., anyway). I was pretty resentful of MM for a long time, but I decided to give it a try. So there we were, the night of the premiere watching Fox when the Pilot episode started. All of the sudden there's strippers and blood dripping down the walls. I got pretty uncomfortable and had to change the channel. I mean, I LOVE horror, but it was a little inappropriate for a five year old to watch. I did keep checking back, however, because I was very curious about the show. I probably warped that poor child's mind with that show (Just kidding). Actually, I didn't get to see MM on a regular basis until after I graduated high school and moved out. That's probably why I didn't get hooked until the second season.
  5. I haven't seen it yet, but I'm dying to. I'm a fan of the Hellraiser series too, and I was really disappointed with Deader. It's the only one in the series that I haven't liked on SOME level. I thought Deader totally sucked, so I'm kind of nervous about Hellworld. Incidentally, I watched Lance in Madhouse last night and I thought that one was pretty lame too. Hopefully, Hellworld will be decent. It comes out on the same day as Millennium Season 3, so I guess we'll all find out on Millennium Tuesday (in the U.S., anyway).
  6. I really like the cover too. Honestly though, they could have put it in a plain cardboard box with "Millennium" stamped on the front and I still would have bought it. Who cares? We BEGGED Fox to release this for a very long time and now they are and it's crystal clear, widescreen, 2.0 surround sound (if I remember correctly), and it comes with a half hour documentary. Millennium was not a very popular show, and now I will be able to own all 67 episodes on DVD, that's all I really care about. But I do like the cover.
  7. I really liked it. They took the story very seriously. Plus, I've been DYING to see The Scarecrow in a Batman film. Now if only they'll put Venom or Carnage in the next Spiderman film.
  8. Are these any good. I live in the U.S., so I guess it doesn't matter, but I'm VERY curious about them. By the way, wasn't someone here working on their own Millennium companion book? Is that going to be coming out?
  9. Yeah, supposedly this is the Canadian version, thats why it has French wording on it. As far as I know, the American and Canadian releases for seasons 1 and 2 have both had the same artwork.
  10. The artwork is here! I'm not sure I inserted the picture right, so here's where you can find it. http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=3557 It's a little Twilight Zoneish, but I like it.
  11. I REALLY wanted this show to work, but I agree with blondton13 about the lead character. She's not a good actress and, personally, I think she's way too hot to be believeable as an expert criminal profiler. I guess that may sound dumb, it's just that when Frank Black would tell other detectives they were wrong and would proceed to tell them EXACTLY who and what they were looking for it made sense. Frank had been a profiler for what, 20, 30 years? This girl looks like a 20 year old beach bunny from The O.C.. I think that other girl and Adam Baldwin are much more believeable characters. I also don't like the mysterious Webb. The whole idea of a shady, mysterious character masterminding the group just seems stupid to me. The final thing I've noticed that seems to be a lame trend for the show is the "damsel in distress" storylines. The really hot detective always winds up in the most dangerous situations for dumb, unbelieveable reasons. I really like the serial killer aspect of the show, but the rest is disappointing. I guess none of this matters anyway. It's on Fox, so it should be cancelled in another week or so.
  12. The Fourth Horseman, are you sure that's the finalized cover art for season 3? To me, it looks like it might be a template or something. It looks like the same background they used for the first two seasons only without a picture and it's in black and white.
