Star Trek - Picard
Earthnut replied to Gotham Gal's topic in TV & Video Entertainment's TV Discussion
Watched the first 2 episodes and it's very good. After all the S T movies, I think a series with "Picard" is the only story line that would be a hit, and yay, it's renewed.- 38 replies

Terminator Sequel
Earthnut replied to Earthnut's topic in Roedecker's Moviedrome's Films & Movies Discussion
I thought Terminator: Dark Fate, was very, very, good, intense, and yes, they could make another one if it's produced by the same people. It may have bombed at the box office, but you and I are the final judge. I may watch it again soon. -
Hello again Viivi! Oh my yes, I too wanted more too, and I agree, it was fantastic. One thing, there was a lot ABOUT the "Hard Sun," but not enough OF IT. Get what I mean? Some other network could pick it up for there to be a S2 showing what everyone is going through in their last hours, minutes, and moments. There's aready 3 people in the story, and plenty of room to add others, in a season or even a movie.

Wow, nice to see you here again Viivi, you have been missed. Merowig ~

Finished it and OMG, what an ending.

Yay, watched the first 2 episodes last night and OMG, I am hooked. Looking forward to what happens in the next 2 tonight.

Oh how I love the sound of a sax. And I also get all warm and fuzzy inside when I hear a trumpet since my father played one. Beautiful and haunting at the same time, and what a combination that is. Mark Snow is a genius. Thanks Alex.

Still trying to download it, and what a slow process. Thanks Seesthru for letting me know that we're not left hanging. It could get picked up by another network, like "The Expanse" did, and there are others. Tried to watch the pilot of "Evil" and changed the station. Wasn't ejoying it at all. I agree, Luther is good and worth the time to watch. The more new TV series that come out, the more I am convinced that MLM is the best ever. They try, but it can't be duplicated.

So true about the hole in our lives after our parents cross over, and how our world changes. It's like it doubles or triples in size. Then imagine what it's like losing a child. I speak from experience when I say, it's even more painful, and you exist with some emptiness in your life that nothing can fill, not even another child, but having another on does help the healing and makes it more bearable. With all due respect to parents, including my own who have crossed over, we know the day will come when they will, but the old saying holds true that a parent should not have to bury a child. Love and huggers.

Thanks seesthru for the heads up. Will check it out. Sure does sound a lot like MLM with the mismatched officers and someone trying to silence them. Bet the government is divided like MLM Roosters and Owls. And, to me, it's better to have a 5 year time frame than an actual year or date. Once the show passes that time, the story line would be a challenge.
