  1. All, here is my review of the second issue. I would love to know if you agree or disagree. http://thex-fileslexicon.blogspot.com/2015/03/benjamins-millennial-compendium-comics-2.html
  2. Number 3 is scheduled to be out on Wednesday.
  3. I just wish HBO was doing it not USA. I still looks like it might be amazing.
  4. And then there is this to worry about too... Bubonic plague, but with more efficient carriers! http://news.yahoo.com/sign-apocalypse-plague-back-disturbing-twist-222945676.html;_ylt=A0SO80VMJt5U6s8ASGhXNyoA;_ylu=X3oDMTByNWU4cGh1BGNvbG8DZ3ExBHBvcwMxBHZ0aWQDBHNlYwNzYw--
  5. I would love to hear if you agree or disagree with my review. Who has read issue1?
  6. I just rewatched "Pest House" from season 2 and think we have to add Edward in as member of legion... Or an avatar of the Lucy Butler character?
  7. The more I see about this, the more excited I am. I think this one is going to be great!
  8. Lance Henriksen wrote a comic book! It is called "To Hell You Ride" The series is complete and available in hardcover. One of the best comics I have ever read and I have read a few. It is a western but it is full of lots of the same menace and foreboding that Millenium did so well. It is moody and dark and ultimately a lot of fun. Dark Horse did a great job with Lance on this one. You have to check it out!
  9. Some more info on this comic book... I was in my local store today. I have been reading comics since I was a kid and never gave up the habit... :) Here is what I was told: 1. The first issue releases on Jan 21st. 2. There will be variant covers (if you collect that sort of thing). So far it appears that there will not be any rare variants. 3. This book is being promoted fairly poorly. The guy at the comic store said he had not heard of it, but would order it for me based on my interest. He said I was literally the first person he has talked to about it. 4. I was told it was good that I came in and asked. As a result he will stock, and he is ordering me all variant covers. He said that as of of this morning there is no in store promotional material planned/available. If you want this one, please make sure you ask. The ongoing series only happens if the 5 issue mini series does well. Pass the word and order it for yourself.
  10. Darlene, :D and also no sorry it looks like it is on Sunday night. Here is the weird thing. You can see episode 3 and on on Lifetime, but the first 2 are available on A&E. When you see it let us know what you think.
  11. Lifetime has picked this one up and will air at least the rest of the first season. I know what I am doing tonight!
  12. Thanks Darlene! You are a rock star!
  13. I did get it but have had trouble watching it. It works for Darlene, but by the time it gets here it does not. It plays, but all I see is a soundless black screen. It would be great if someone with more tech skills could help. And Darlene you are the best for archiving this stuff.
  14. Does anyone know where you can see this? It used to be on youtube but was removed for copyright violations. I was willing to buy the episode of MadTV, but it appears that is not a possibility either. Anyone have any other ideas? Thanks!!!
  15. Is there even an anti-virus for ebola? I was under the understanding that they were close on developing one for Marburg, but none of the other hemmoragic fevers out there. I wonder what sort of person is willing to be the first to be injected with the Marburg vaccine. And I agree... The Hot Zone should scare the #^%$ out of you. Ebola...here in the US. And it is a true story.
  16. One thing that has not been said on this point is that it is hard to imagine a person who has been the victim of a violent crime like Catherine was to want to be alone. It is clear that the Black family relationship is not as close as it had once been. How far do you need to get into season one before we see a kiss on the lips or anything more intimate than a close friend. This could have been a wake up call to Catherine that she could not do life on autopilot, but even at that why not have him sleep on the couch? I mean this is the house where Bletcher died in, and it was not too much before where she was saying she was not sure she wanted to go back. And even if Frank needed to leave, why did she not have a girlfriend stay or her parents or... well anyone really. On the other hand, it is not like Frank was sharing the PS pictures with Catherine. And he did not even argue about staying with her. If it had been my wife, it is hard for me to think I would want her to be alone. I would have offered the couch as a solution. This turn of events is nearly made my wife stop watching the show, it made her that angry.
  17. Catherine worked as a victims advocate/social worker. In Well Worn Lock she was really the star of the action and Frank took a back seat.
  18. Interestingly in PPDT, remember the scene when they are in the market and at each isle Frank sees someone else, ALister Pepper, Lucy, etc... This is a clear indication to me that they are all one, maybe not literally, but in purpose as if a legion of men. And in the same episode Frank insists more than once that Alister has made the "Work for me" offer before. Pepper seems amused by this and we can interpret Frank as incorrect and making a wrong assumption because of his fragile state of mind, or dead on accurate. If he is right then the Judge is indeed at least in league with Pepper, Butler et al. It is strange that we never find out what happens to Pepper... does he live or die?
  19. But again, if we were all to revert to the buy it local idea (I love the idea but the practice...) bananas and oranges would not be found in most of our homes. There would be very little beef in the north east. And I live in Las Vegas... Scorpions and ??? for me to eat? I am not saying there is anything wrong with the idea of buying locally, I am just saying that it would require a radical re-engineering of where and how many of us live.
  20. Okay, here is your chance to recast our beloved show. The rules are that you have to use real world famous people, not an actor as another person. So Forrest Gump could not be considered, but Tom Hanks could for example. And you are not limited to actors at all. Just imagine real people walking in and taking the rolls of MM characters... I'll go first... I think Joe Biden would make a great Detective Giebelhouse. What are your picks?
  21. This seems like such a win win... No animals were harmed in the making of this hamburger. :) If this helps world hunger, reduces animal suffering, and conserves energy and resources in the process, wow what a great day. Our instincts go against GMO's (although I think is more of a precessed food than a GMO, though it could be made with GMO's) but the truth is that since man started planting man has been tinkering with the genetic outcome of crops to produce the best an most abundant foods they could. Now we just use the modern tools available to us. In a perfect world maybe we would all be eating a diet of mostly or entirely organic plants, but with the world as it is, 100% organic also means lots of people starving to death... And hunger is already a big enough problem. There has to be a middle road between intensive factory farming and subsistence level farming and if the it is in a laboratory that we find the answer, well, sign me up for a "chicken" taco.
  22. As another MM Pilot similarity in Episode 2 of TWK... It appears that the bad guy (whoever it is) is stitching his victims. It was not clear if it was eyes being stitched.
  23. I am watching episodes through the free A&E app on my kindle... Would that work for you?
