Well, they were filmed in the same way as the X-Files, and The X-Files are now available in 16:9 on Netflix. It's just that FOX would have to bother making a new version. The actual footage is much larger than either 4:3 or 16:9 image we get...they film for both 16:9 and 4:3 (but obviously the focus was on 4:3 back when the first season was shot).
It would be very welcome to get the first season of Millennium in widescreen since The X-Files look more cinematic in widescreen.
Don't know how much work it would be to get the 16:9 since you gain more information on left/right side but lose a little on top/bottom...depending on the framing. Since there might be visible boom mikes when they open up the framing or have to redo special effects.

BOOM BOOM and hello to CatherineBlack!
Im still overwhelmed how this show influenced peolpe around the world, that we still get new members after such a long time!
How did you get here? Was your memory refreshed by the Millennium Comics that were just released or have you just never forgotten about the show? However, im glad a new member joined us and im looking forward to your contributions.
Oh...I think I'm responsible for that. I've been re-posting my old Millennium music videos over at the Facebook Millennium Group page and sometimes point people to TIWWA. Note that I haven't uploaded them all since the videos have almost reached the number 50...which will happen with the next one.
Long time since I logged in here, might stop by weekly or so now that I'm back in the music video editing again...for now.
Cheers from Iceland and don't be dark.

I'm also very interested in seeing this since I'm a fellow Millennium music video editor myself, and going back in the editing chair after a couple of years hiatus.
If you have a gmail/google account you have access to google drive which is what I use to share my videos (people can choose to watch or download them) and it has plenty of space, so that's not a problem.
Not all of them are there but will be added in random fashion here and there, almost gotten to 50 videos (not all of them strictly music videos in that sense).
Cheers from Iceland and don't be dark.

I could possible show up, but as I'm in Iceland, and I have only two trips left this year. I'm looking at Stockholm, Sweden at the beginning of October. And then I'm thinking of another US trip before end of October...or maybe UK trip. In theory, I could get there. Still, hard to say yes now.

CASE 39 was on the shelf for a while, the studio didn't know what to do with it. That's why Pandorum looks like it came first, I've got that movie. Bought them both at the same time and noticed the same director's name. Still haven't watched Pandorum.
Well, if you think too much about the film. People can make a lot of fun of the film. If you haven't seen the film, don't check this video out, massive spoilers, it's a review of the film.

This guy has ripped on worse movies than this one, which deserve the mocking much more.

Corey Feldman isn't dead, I'm pretty sure of it.
Mikal, that's harsh.
Corey Haim's last performance was in Crank 2: High Voltage.
It was also around the time Brittany Murphy died, actually closer to Michael Jackson's death...a lot of these overdose of prescribed drugs (when they have many doctors prescribing them). Just sad, something that could have been prevented.

Obviously I don't know the whole story but the screenwriter has taken some liberties and made it more dramatic so it would make a more interesting and involving film. I'll see it eventually, after all, big fan of David Fincher. And I already own the soundtrack, I gobble everything that comes from the mind of Trent Reznor.
-
It's not bad, however I found it a bit of a missed opportunity. I really wanted to see the story of the kid's parents. I thought the alternative ending was more appropriate, and much more realistic. It's pretty obvious a part of that ending would happen to her even now.
And I think it made more sense how the detective was handled, there was a way different way that was deleted and even popped up in the trailer, talk about false advertising...but often they don't know what's in the final cut and what is not.
-
Cop Rock doesn't sound so bad to me, and I spotted Rex Linn in there.
I sort of want to see more of it, that was one rockin' tune :D
Oh...boy...Baywatch Nights, now why didn't the Hoff just create a new character for that second season, funny theme music though :D

He reminds me of the dancing dream man in Twin Peaks.
I thought of the exact same thing when I saw the pictures.

Wow, Indonesia. We're really global, aren't we, this is who we are!
I'm Jósef and I'm from Iceland, Charger's from Finland, Earthnut (Darlene), Walkabout (Randee) and ethsnafu (Mark) is from the UK.
We will conquer the world! Not even Lucy Butler can stop us, muhawhawhaw!!.....*stops and looks around* why's everybody looking at me that way?

Speaking of people that are all over the places, Raphael Sbarge. I noticed him in Burn Notice and Dexter and I don't know how many TV shows in recent years. I really like his work, he was on The Guardian with Simon Baker and then I see him as well on Mentalist. You may not remember his name but I believe he has the Middendorf effect ;)

I guess you are swamped. So here's the link to the blog entry at my blog where I post all my music videos.
https://cheersfromiceland.blogspot.com/2010/09/midnight-of-merry-little-christmas.html
And at the end, is a link where you can download it, if you wish so.
And regarding the other videos, only the first 10 are available for download at this time, it takes time and effort to keep them alive since no one really does take the opportunity and grab them.

To quote the Tooth Fairy in Manhunter/The Red Dragon: You owe me awe!
Just kidding. I'm glad you people enjoyed the video. I paused for a bit when Mark asked me to do a Midnight of the Century music montage video since I already had done one, which was probably my finest hour in combing lyrics to what was happening on-screen and that it made sense, at least it did to me.
But when I thought about what I didn't use or focus on in the previous one, there was only one way to go...I'm not sure if I can go to the well again for a third time, can we Mark? ;)
Maybe it would be a good idea to have the first MOTC music montage video as well, since they all work so well together.
After all, when I did the first MOTC music montage video I had three tracks that I focused on, from the same odd/cheap/rare tracks Christmas compilation album (the quality wasn't the best on that CD, I admit but there was this warmth I felt from those three tracks). And the ones I left are the ones I used for the MOTC Celebration Teaser and the second MOTC music montage video.

Was there a Millennium episode which was Valentine's Day-themed? I know The X Files did one (the sixth season episode "The Rain King").
Sadly not.

Can't wait! Are we there yet? Are we there YET!? :D

Yes, The Shield, damn good TV...I never thought it would go so dark in the final season...or even it would go down like it did when the Strike Team was in fun action in the first season. Did you know CCH Pounder's role was written as male and her agent (or Pounder) asked why couldn't it be a woman. They didn't change the dialog.
-
And on last season on The Mentalist (had to do with Native American reservation something, okay episode, nothing to write home about), Tracy Middendorf, who was Cassie in Season 3 episode Darwin's Eye.
I did try imdb's advanced search, you just compare Millennium and any show you want and you get people who worked on both shows. Pretty neat.
And of course! Zeljko Ivanek (he was the doctor in Walkabout in season 1) who has been on a lot of shows lately and been in so many TV series over the years, notably Homicide: Life on the Street. Now, Heroes, The Event, The Mentalist and what not follows...he's everywhere on TV.
-
Borrowed Time and I think it's the one after Omerta.
-
Alot of these signatures you are hard pressed to see what's written...I can see the L clearly then ance Henriksen is more or less a line...how can people write like this?
-
Huh, I guess it was 30 bucks then....I don't have my list with me (I throw it away when I'm back home), what I spent (very handy to note down what you're spending when you're abroad, especially when you have only so much cash with you). If that's the case, then that's the most expensive I've got to date...George Romero, was he over the 30 dollars limit, I don't remember...
-
I noticed Arye Gross (who was Ed, our favorite obsessive writer from season 3 episode Skull and Bones) on The Mentalist the other day, I checked his imdb page and he's been pretty busy. Has appeared on Lie to Me, Leverage and others shows in the past years.
-
Really, was it 30 dollars at Texas Frightmare? I'm pretty sure it was 20 or 25...then again, I don't have the best memory. I guess George Romero was 25 dollars as well...
But yes, Malcolm McDowell was 25 dollars at HorrorHound, and that was just the signature, and there was a special professional photo session for him and select others. Same with Linda Blair (the autograph price), a photo with her cost another 25 dollars, if you wanted. That's a lot.
So, the celeb always decides what he charges...I'm shocked to read that Lance is charging 40 $ for an autograph + picture. That's too much if you ask me. I probably wouldn't complain if the dollar was something along the lines it was in the mid-90's. But now, that's just sad to hear.
Mark, was it 40 dollars for signature and 40 dollars separate for photo as well...oh my...if true.

I will update this list, so notes may be edited at a later time (or deleted to make a new updated list, I thought I could edit my posts forever).
The music videos can be found and downloaded here. More will be added later from time to time, feel free to either watch or download them.
Some of the videos have small behind the scenes comments, which can be found on my blog (which will be updated later with photos and proper download links since everything is a dud there).
