I think the group gave her the vaccine, but she didn't know.  I think they gave her the syringe, knowing she would give it to Frank, and they set him  up to make a terrible choice.... If she had died in  the outbreak, I believe Frank would have mentioned it in the same breath he  told they killed his wife.
If she came back to reality, the group would swarm in all over her.  If she stayed insane, they'd  wash their hands of her.   IF I were writing her story, I'd have her pretend to be insane, until she  could sneak away and  get free of them.

My only problem with Lara Means was the "Here's My Thing"   It was very annoying.  But now, I find in it a reason to smile nostalgically ...  He character, when she arrived in "Monster"   was so strong, so self-assured,   determined...  The  end of the one season  she was on the show, was a far cry from the beginning.     I  wish that in Season 3 they had  given her closure, maybe had Frank stop by and visit her, well, and AWAY from the group for good.

When I first watched the show, I didn't like her..I thought she was nagging, getting in Frank's way.  Years later I watched it with more mature eyes, eyes that have seen so much more.... and I really think she was, along with the Old man,  the one person who was rooted in reality,  in love,  and compassion.  She was trying so hard to keep her family together, keep Frank sane and  stable ,and the group was exploiting every weakness they found in him.   She had to fight their influence, the influence of the things Frank saw, fight the danger Jordan was in, and on top of it all still be a caring social worker, a great mom, and  a supportive wife.  WOW!

There was mention of Frank needing money.  When that group approached him with an offer to  leave Millennium and join them,  they mentioned it.   I know  when Catherine wanted Frank to sell the yellow house ( Beware of the dog)  I think she might have mentioned 2 mortgages. So he was buying a different house.   I thought that was weird, him buying, if they wanted to be back together.  But they had a realty company they dealt with.  There was a sign.  Odd though, Franks house they never mentioned selling  IT.   But Frank was  in that house before Catherine moved out of the yellow house. It's like he left the night   they got home after he killed her kidnapper  and poof magically in a different house! Then the next episode, he's in his place, and they are fighting over the yellow house, keep or sell.
I think  they didn't  fully form that whole aspect.

Well, I'm sure they didn't call this volume 1, if they didn't plan doing another one. But since this is called "Orchestral", the next volume could be more electronic music by Mark.
Snow Files of the Week: "Prayer/Suicide Exam" from the X-Files episode "Die Hand Die Verletzt (1995)".
A remarkable score by Mark for this episode. The story around satanic rituals, belief and possession inspired Mark to this very dark and gothic score. The brooding ambient music sets the mood for the chilling events that occur at a high school. Mark also brings some satanic chants into the music, making this one of the most memorable scores of the entire show.
"Die Hand Die Verletzt" is german for "The Hand that wounds". The term can be heard in the satanic prayer the teachers are doing at the beginning of the episode. Ironically the episode got another title in Germany, where it's called "Satan".
Music from "Die Hand Die Verletzt" was released on the second volume of the X-Files 4-Disc-Box-Set by La-La Land Records. The set is limited to 3.000 copies.
    Enjoy!

No danger of greasy residue in my kitchen, the stove hasn't been connected in decades! I guess  collecting pottery wouldn't be my thing, because I'd probably have served cookies on it. or used it as a birdie bath, or lap tray, not knowing it wasn't meant to do anything but be collected. Nice to see the pictures of his interesting pieces, and wow his studio is huge!  I had pictured a cottage with a potters wheel, table, small kiln... That is a warehouse style huge work area!

Snow Files of the Week: "Prologue/Main Title/The Boys Find The Cave/The Kiss/Happy Ending" from the tv movie THE LITTLE KIDNAPPERS (1990).
For this Disney Channel production Mark again could get his hands on an orchestra. The "Main Title" begins with a solo flute and transforms into a wonderful, soaring piece of music. The theme presented here also makes its way into the rest of the score, with happy child adventures music like "The Boys Find The Cave". The score again shows Mark's abilities to create memorable music outside of the X-Files universe.
The score was released, together with Mark's music for IN THE LINE OF DUTY: SMOKE JUMPERS, on the "Mark Snow Collection Volume 1" by Dragon's Domain Records. The CD is limited to 500 copies.
    Enjoy!

It is all there will be.  I'm glad that in the end we have a Frank in 2000 that leaves with his daughter, having foiled the big MG goal of trying to force the "second coming"  In my mind they get on with a normal life, missing Catherine of course, but no dips back into the mire.

I was thrilled about there being a crossover and why I watched it.  Frank and Jordan's future will always be filled with questions.  Our fan production, MLM Apoc., and of course our imaginations, may be all we get and have.

Was picturing displaying it in a nice big kitchen and dining area Walkabout, maybe with decorative shelves, not my dinky kitchen.  But I still don't have the room anywhere, except maybe on the wall.  I'm with seesthru; serving cookies.
Yes,Lance's studio is very big, and I too was surprised at the size.  It would be fascinating to visit and watch him work.
BTW seesthru, I love your new avatar, an eclipse.  It's beautiful.
