  1. Wow! Those are Gorgeous desktop-worthy pictures! Thank you Archer. We've had no snow and temps in the 50's (10 Celsius).

    Happy Holidays to you too!

Thanks ein042. I enjoy the crazy snow days, although my dash hound hates the snow! lol

:santa: :Santa_Claus_elf: I think the pictures are wild too :smokin:

Happy Holidays right back at you my friend...

  2. Nice pictures Archer! I am hoping for some snow in Belgium this winter. Now we still have temperatures of about 14° celcius which is quite high for the time of the year. November even broke a record here: it was the hottest november month of the century where I live.

WOW! I think we even broke a record here at -15 celcius... I thought you guys should be having the snow right now out there then us out here?

    Strange Weather!!!! :smokin:

  3. Out here in Beautiful BC we were hit with about 2 feet of snow! Power was out for about two days where I live. All we had was candle power for light. My fire place kept us hot though.lol

Later on tonight I will post pictures of the carnage!!!

    :smokin:

Here is some pics I took the first night. This was just after a few hours.

  4. Thank you, Archer.

Tell me, did you ever join my MSN group?

This dream's been bugging me for too many years for mr quit. I just don't know how to go about it yet. I've THOUGHT of trying to find a struggling PI company and rebuild it, since my strength is PR and such......

Yes I did... I found lots of the info listed quite interesting. It's been awhile since I saw any new listings to thumb though. :smokin:

  5. The ones that tripped me up were the questions involving certain chemicals, because I know nothing about things like that. That's the science part of this field that always intemidated me. Other stuff almost tripped me up, because it just looked too obvious.

Like when those people just came walzing in the door, taking pictures.... I thought, WTF?

I still want to do this....I just don't know how. It's like, I have the skills to do the parts of the work that interest me, but the government says I've gotta have some piece of paper, that I have to do things I can NOT do, in order to do what I CAN do! That's one of the reasons I gave up on being a counselor. (well, that and knowing deep down that's not where my heart was)

The Government where ever you live always has rules and regulations that state one must meet a certain educational level to work in these fields. Although I bet if you were rich you could write your own ticket! lol

Have faith!! With all these crime fighting schools now I see on tv Raven it's a matter of time before we all are forensic geniuses. lol

Never give up on your dreams Raven. When you give up the dream fades away.

  6. In the year 2006, the Lord came unto Noah, who was now living in England,

and said: "Once again, the earth has become wicked and overpopulated,

and I see the end of all flesh before me. Build another Ark and save two of

every living thing, along with a few good humans."

He gave Noah the Microstation CAD drawings and specifications, saying

unto him, "You have 6 months to build the Ark before I will start the

unending rain, which will last for 40 days and 40 nights."

Six months later, the Lord looked down and saw Noah weeping in his

yard, but He could see no Ark.

Noah!" He roared, "I'm about to start the rain! Where is the Ark ?"

"Forgive me, Lord," begged Noah, "but things have changed. I needed

Building Regulations Approval. I've been arguing with the Fire Brigade about the

need for a sprinkler system. My neighbours claim that I should have obtained

planning permission for building the Ark in my garden because of the

development of the site, even though in my view it is a temporary

    structure.

We had to go to appeal to the Secretary of State for a decision. Then

the Department of Transport demanded a bond be posted for the future costs

of moving power lines and other overhead obstructions, to clear the

passage for the Ark's move to the sea. I told them that the sea would be coming to

us, but they would hear nothing of it. Getting the wood was another

problem. All the decent trees have Tree Preservation Orders on them, and we live in

a Site of Special Scientific Interest set up in order to protect the Red-backed shrike. I

tried to convince the environmentalists that I needed the wood to save

the shrikes, but they insisted that my actions were not in accord with

English Natures Biodiversity Action Plan, so no go! Getting it paid for is a

nightmare. I thought there was money, but then the government said they

had slipped my slippage to cover their overspend, but if I could show I had

spent it I could have it, but as I didn't have an output, I couldn't

have spent it .. Lord. When I started gathering the animals, the RSPCA sued

    me.

They insisted that I was confining wild animals against their will.

They argued the accommodation was too restrictive, and that it was cruel and

inhumane to put so many animals in such a confined space. Then the

County Council, the Environment Agency and the Rivers Authority ruled that I

couldn't build the Ark until they'd conducted an environmental impact

study on your proposed flood. I'm still trying to resolve a complaint with

the Equal Opportunities Commission on how many people of Black and Minority

Ethnic Origin I'm supposed to hire for my building team. The trades

unions say I can't use my sons.

They insist I have to hire only CSCS accredited

workers with Ark-building experience. I'm only allowed to use people

who are 'hard to reach' and they're hard to find, and then they're not

qualified. To make matters worse, Customs and Excise have seized all my assets,

claiming I'm trying to leave the country illegally with endangered species. So,

forgive me, Lord, but it would take at least 10 years for me to finish

this Ark, and that's without snagging, overruns and delivery reviews by all

    stakeholder parties!"

Suddenly the skies cleared, the sun began to shine, and a rainbow

stretched across the sky. Noah looked up in wonder and asked, "You mean you're

not going to destroy the world, Lord?"

"No." said the Lord. "The Government has beaten me to it."

    Nice! :smokin:

  7. Thanks!

I watched the first episode of Jericho(CBS)!!!!!!!! Awesome... I will definetly be watching this one.

    Good Picks Joe M.

  9. I've just finished watching season 3 for the first time and can't believe that Emma Hollis sold Frank out.

I know that through the episode it was kind of inevitable that she would do that but still I thought she might figure a way out.

Poor Frank being let down by everyone around him and his face when he found out that she had sold her soul he didnt even look angry more pity for her situation and an acknowledgement of the inenvitability and hopelessness of his own situation and hers.

    Damn, Damn, Damn!

At least Frank and Jordan running down the school hallway made me feel better.

    I'm off to cry...again

Then start watching them all again starting with season 1

Hold all the emotion and read some of the best fan fiction ever!!!!! Some of the talented Tiwwa members

put together a Virtual season 4!!!!!!!!

I was destroyed when the show ended! The virtual season picks up the story and keeps you going on that great ride..

Serial killer Clifford Olson would kill again if free: parole board

STE-ANNE-DES-PLAINES, Que. (CP) - Gary Rosenfeldt found it difficult just being in the same room as Clifford Olson, the self-styled Beast of British Columbia who murdered his stepson and 10 other young people.

"What goes through your mind is those are the hands that held the hammer that smashed your son's head in," Rosenfeldt, whose stepson Daryn Johnsrude was Olson's third victim, said Tuesday after National Parole Board officials rejected the killer's bid for freedom.

"It's not an easy thing to do to sit and look at that."

Olson, who has served 25 years of a life sentence for the murders of 11 young people in British Columbia, appeared before a parole board panel at a prison north of Montreal.

He looked dishevelled and was bald with a wild fringe of long greying hair.

Observers watching the hearing via closed-circuit television could hear sobs from family members as they struggled through their statements.

"It has been 25 years that my sister was taken from us and not a day goes by that we don't think about it," Darylene Perry, whose 13-year-old sister Ada Court was killed, told the board.

"I don't think you should ever live a day beyond prison walls," she told Olson.

Parole officials took only about a half an hour to deny Olson parole, saying he poses a "clear and present danger" to the public.

The three-member board agreed with recommendations by correctional staff that Olson will surely murder again if released.

Citing recommendations from correctional staff, board member Jacques Letendre said the risk posed by Olson hasn't diminished in 25 years behind bars.

"Mr. Olson presents a high risk and a psychopathic risk," Letendre said. "He is a sexual sadist and a narcissist.

"The (correctional team) believes that if released, he will kill again."

British Columbia's solicitor general called the hearing "a charade" that should never be repeated.

  11. I just bought the double feature Night Stalker / Night Strangler. Me and my little guy watched them together last night. My son told me he didn't think the two shows were scary at all once we finished watching them, then he went off to bed

About 20 minutes after he went to bed I could hear him get out bed and turn on a small light in the bathroom just outside his room. Later on me and my wife heard him scream! lol NIGHTMARE..

Wussy...... What a blast from the past.
