  1. From a Metro news article:- Were not suggesting you might get a little excited by this or anything but the first actual trailer for the X-Files reboot has been released. Yes, after months of teasing us with pictures, plot hints etc, makers Fox have finally given fans the chance to see Mulder and Scully in action once again after this teaser found its way online. Admittedly, you dont get to see a whole lot of them in action since the clip is a mere 16 seconds long offering just the briefest glimpse of Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny. But it whips up a creepy atmosphere nonetheless thanks to the presence of the military, some kind of bizarre injection procedure and Mulders I Want To Believe poster being cast to the ground in that time. No, we have no idea what it all means either. But its enough to whet our appetites. Entertainment Weekly recently revealed the first episode of the new mini-series would be entitled Mr Struggle, and would be directed by series creator Chris Carter. Meanwhile cast newcomers will include Joel McHale of Community fame who will be playing Tad OMalley described as the anchor of a popular conservative Internet news network who becomes an unlikely ally for Mulder. According to the trailer the series will premiere in the US in January 2016 although theres no word yet on when well get it here. 2. Looking very nice indeed! http://movieweb.com/x-files-collectors-set-blu-ray-special-features/
  3. Hi Everyone, We are really pleased to present our new exclusive interview with actor Jerry Hardin, who played Deep Throat. http://www.x-fileslexicon.com/exclusive/hardin.html There was a time, due to his advance years, that I doubted we'd ever secure an interview, which is explained in the piece, but it was a thrill to hear that voice over the phone, and kind of surreal for me. I realize this won't cover much new ground for first generation fans, I had some limited time for the interview, and couldn't get to some of the topics I wanted to bring up, but it was still thrilling to speak to him. Enjoy!
  4. Hi Everyone, A certain staffer from XFL interviewed Howard Gordon for Den of Geek, about The X-Files revival, 24, Homeland, and a new series that sounds pretty promising. http://www.denofgeek.us/tv/howard-gordon/248327/howard-gordon-talks-the-x-files-revival-homeland-24 Let's hope the previous definition of an exclusive interview was cleared up with XFL's previous interview with Theirry J. Couturier. But personally, I do remain your humble servant, and I appreciate all of the past support from here. Maybe even Mark Hayden is floating around somehow. Enjoy.
  5. X-Files Lexicon did a brief interview with Mike Joffe, from the La-La Land label about The X-Files and Millennium CD titles, and what could happen with Mark Snow's new music for the revival. http://www.x-fileslexicon.com/exclusive/joffe.html Anyway, Mike has been a great friend to XFL, as well as TIWWA, so it was nice to touch base.
  6. Interview with Chris Carter... http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/films/features/the-xfiles-creator-chris-carter-on-government-conspiracies-and-paranormal-experiences-10416742.html
  7. Chris Carter has said Mark Snow will be back: "The show will count once again on the talents of composer Mark Snow." (LINK: http://www.xfilesnews.com/index.php/xfiles-news/latest-news/1566-xfn-exclusive-chris-carter-on-xfilesrevival)
  8. Chris has been interviewed by the Vancouver Sun. (Very sad to learn why he was in Vancouver two weeks before, it seems Millennium's First Assistant Director had passed away, Jack Hardy who had made an active and admirable career... I can't find any information relating to his passing, so haven't updated his profile in the Episode Guide yet.) ... Series creator talks about Vancouver and B.C.s role in making the show a hit Interview By Francois Marchand, Vancouver Sun April 28, 2015 10:38 AM The truth is simple: Chris Carter loves Vancouver. The creator of hit sci-fi show The X-Files is coming back to the B.C. coast this week to be the special guest at a private Vancouver International Film Festival Industry event being held on National Canadian Film Day on April 29. Carter arguably opened the provinces doors to American television and film artists when he decided to shoot The X-Files in Vancouver and B.C. for its first five seasons, before taking the show back to California. The recently announced reboot of the series, consisting of six new episodes featuring most of the original cast and crew (including David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson reprising their roles as FBI agents Mulder and Scully), will be shot in Vancouver later this year. It will air on Fox in 2016. To celebrate National Canadian Film Day, VIFF will also be screening six Canadian films at the Vancity Theatre: Kris Elgstrands Songs She Wrote About People She Knows and Andrew Huculiaks Violent (both from B.C.), as well as critically acclaimed films by Xavier Dolan (Mommy), Robert Cohen (Being Canadian), Mars Horodyski (Bens At Home) and Kyle Thomas (The Valley Below). Tickets for the six-film event can be purchased at viff.org. The Vancouver Sun chatted with Carter via phone about his forthcoming VIFF Industry appearance, the return of The X-Files to B.C., and how truly Canadian the hit sci-fi series really is. 9. Hello everyone, I was a little slow to post our William B. Davis interview from July, I wasn't certain if there would be enough interest. But I'm pretty certain they'll be interest with this interview. We are proud to present our interview with Jeff Charbonneau, the music editor for The X-Files, Millennium, The Lone Gunmen, and Harsh Realm, Jeff was the right hand man for Mark Snow. Jeff is also a composer and a good photographer in his own right. Enjoy!
  10. Hello Everyone, I often feel I overload this board with X-Files Lexicon exclusives, but here I go again! We're proud to present our exclusive interview with Alex Gansa, the co-writer with Howard Gordon during the first season of the X-Files.
