Really? I did not know that. That could make French players jealous! The French video game magazine I use to read has not mentioned it yet.

I had quite a few very good times playing Half life and Unreal Tournament with my brother. They were our favorite FPS games then, but I lost track of this kind of game since the last 3 years.

I'd prefer Lance in sudden strike III. It's got these tiny little soldiers following all your commands and while they die for you, they shout all kinds of things ("it's freezin' " and stuff), over and over again. It would be nice to have Lance always with you, this way :grin2:

Wow.  I can't tell you how appealing that sounds.  Forcing other people (fake or not) to their deaths and having Lance's voice plead for the life every time.  Wow.

I'm just not one for the carnage.  I get too sentimental.  Plus, I had this weird dream last night that makes me want to check and make sure my friend Katie is alive and not being stalked.

I had a feeling you could kick ass with a Rail Gun!

OH YEAH! The Old Man kicks ass but mainly I like Medal Of Honour and Spearhead its add-on pack and Vietcong (love this!). I have lots of FPS games on my 2 PC's for multiplayer sessions when my son comes over - I'm teaching him a healthy respect for death at the tender age of 9 - don't tell his Mom...  

Here's some piccies from the 2 Lan Party's I set up in one of the rooms at work earlier this year. Wanted to make it a monthly thing but no time. I tool great pleasure in putting a sign on the door "DEAD EYE DICKS ONLY" - works for me!

Wow! Great pics and looks like a great time.  I just had my basement finished and looking forward for recruiting an over-the-hill gang of lan gamers.  Spearhead looks like a lot of fun.  I will still likely center the festivities on Battlefield 1942 and its mod Desert Combat.

You'll love Spearhead expansion for Medal Of Honour.

Where as MOH was centered on Saving Private Ryan, there are many elements of Band Of Brothers in Spearhead.

LOL! Actually Pete had some very large fans in the top and side of his case. I've never been into overclocking but this week or so have overclocked my AMD XP Barton 2500+ to 3000+ with no extra cooling etc!

Should speed up TIWWA!

I've be OC'ing for years and have many, many horror stories

you can share with your friends on a dark and stormy night.

AMD XP's overclock VERY well...never had a problem..but I

do use heatsink and fan combos as big as a house.  I just

switched all my PC's to the large Antec AMG server cases.

These are the best cases I've ever used but, alas, they

are too freakin' big to lug around to LAN parties.

I understand your desire for privacy concerning your lapping

rituals. I would like to recommend Artic Silver Compound...
