LANCE AND MEGAN IN THE UK!

Surprised this hasn't been posted yet, but both Megan Gallagher and Mr Noir himself will be appearing at:

"Collectormania 10

On the 29th September to 1st October 2006, Showmasters will be holding their bi-annual COLLECTORMANIA event in the centre of Milton Keynes, and joining them to help celebrate their 10th event in the city will be a host of stars from around the globe, including James Bond himself!

And to celebrate the release of the original Star Wars trilogy on dvd we have some of your favourite Star Wars guests, Dave Prowse, Jeremy Bullock, Kenny Baker, Rusty Goffe, and many more.

There will be over 30 stars, including some of the most recognised people from the big and small screen appearing over the three days. Superheroes, secret agents, alien hunters, vampire slayers and even ghostbusters will all be signing autographs and meeting fans throughout the weekend.

Other attractions include a traders area with 300 stands and specialist companies from around Europe and the USA selling a wide range of merchandise from replica lightsabres and wands to original posters from the greatest classic films ever made, toys, autographs, movies, comics and cards. In fact everything to keep the big kid in all of us happy!

A new element to the show this year is the opportunity to have a professional photograph taken with some of the guests. Stars from Aliens, James Bond and Firefly are all taking part, giving you the chance to have an extra special keepsake to take home and make your friends jealous!

Collectormania is unlike anything else ever staged in Europe, not just an excellent weekend out but an essential one!"

I will be there to see them both!!! I normally do not cue up for such events... often taking a quick "drive by" to see if there is any thing interesting. I have met several actors by just being in the right place at the right time, such as Gary Oldman, Johnathan Franks, John Billingsley (Dr. Flox, as well as a character of significance on the XFs), etc. But, I will definitely make an exception for Lance Henriksen and Megan Gallagher!!! I will be there.

I'll be there as well, driving down from Manchester on the sunday, and I've booked myself into the photo queue. I'll also be be bringing down a painting I've done as a gift to Lance and Megan.

If other Group members are going down, anyone know a good pub we can all meet up in on the day? How often do we get the chance to meet message boarders in real life?!

Hows about we post a pic of ourselves so we know who to look for?

Quick question, why are Lance H. and Sarah Jane appearing in the U.K. so often? I hardly ever hear about them appearing here in the U.S., at least not lately, and especially not anywhere near my area. Not that the U.K. doesn't deserve to have them, I'm just surprised that they can get there so often. Don't they usually work in the U.S.?

Let me try to answer that. I dont know for certian but it seems to me that in the UK MilleniuM must be pretty popular or was in its heights of popularity a few years back. I know Lance pops up every once in a while for Comic Cons in San Diego and New Jersey?

LOL, yep, just like everyone else, he visits the coasts. How about visiting the heartland one of these days Lance!!! On a serious note, I guess the Detroit area isn't exactly a hot spot in the industry. I guess I just have to wait for the auto show and be happy with that.
