Two unrelated Stories that could be related

got my usual unusual call from one of my good pals that now works for the Hollywood Reporter. Chris Carters legal problems with FOX is coming to an end. Chris is ready to jump back into movie making. Not working for a long while he is ready to capitalize on his 2 franchises: X-Files and MilleniuM. Carter is well aware of both fan-fanatics. Side bar: Does this mean he is aware of Tiwwa.info? X-Files 2 should be in producation soon and ready by 2007 along with an announcement of a MM movie. Two major stars are now linked to the MM movie. He had no names as of now.

Now heres the unrelated news that could be related. Lance was spotted having lunch with Bill Paxton at a Jerry's Deli. Is Bill Paxton the major star?

Good news. It sounds like they might finally be getting ready to get the ball rolling. Based on popularity and demand, I would expect to see an X-files sequel long before a Millennium movie, but I hope we see both. If given a choice, I would rather see a MM movie. It's good news that MM sounds like they have two stars on board, but I hope this would not be an indication that Lance wouldn't carry the project like he did the TV series. I have enjoyed some of Lance's films sense MM, but nothing would make me happier than seeing Frank Black again.

Great news. If I get a chance to speak with Lance and Megan at Milton Keynes I'll ask them, see if they know anything about it.

Thanks everyone. I wanted to try and recreate the opening title sequence, with the newspaper headlines and esoteric symbols layered behind the ourabouros, to see if I could do the same for the covers. Instaed I got the idea of Frank trying to paint away the darkness with the yellow house, the house being of course the beacon of light and hope in his world that is being encroached upon.

I think I'll need to go through a few more versions before I'm happy with it though.

On a related note, I'm seriously thinking about starting a Millennium podcast. You may wonder why bother doing a podcsat about a show cancelled 8 years ago; well, there's the fan projects going on, the virtual seasons, the Millennium Apocalypse series, theres the rumours of the MM movie to discuss, theres the possibility of getting interviews with cast and crew, theres reviews and discussions of episodes and related Millenniumistic aspects, and it helps raise awareness of the show in the broader arena.

If anyone fancies helping out or has any ideas, let us know.
