Guest Second Coming
You know what's funny. I remember watching Adaptation and when the guy showed his script for "The Three" I thought of Millennium. I guess it was the orobourous reference but I had forgot about that. Guest se7en
Interesting. To each their own, but I found The Shipping News to be contrived and unengaging, despite being my kind of movie. The character development, the suppoed epiphany at its close... neither felt real to me at all. Amreican Beauty, on the other hand, was a little out there but totally worked for me! Whilst arguably more contrived in itself, its dreamy style and some superlative performances have made this a movie I still cherish now. .....you certainly are not the only person to think that way about this movie. ...it just struck a chord in me,like the book did. it's interesting,i think "American beauty" is an american classic and yet i've only viewed it once on dvd while i've already watched "THE SHIPPING NEWS" 5-6-times in the 9-months i've owned it. ~se7en
