....I'm thrilled to be able to offer MillenniuM and Harsh Realm fans this "just in" news from the online chat with Peter Staddon.

PETER STADDON ON MILLENNIUM,AND SURPRISINGLY,HARSH REALM, RELEASE:

"....MillenniuM and Harsh Realm WILL BOTH BE OUT ON DVD THIS YEAR. The first season of MillenniuM is some of the finast TV ever produced-in my opinion-and I'm glad we can FINALLY bring it out on dvd."

PETER STADDON ON WHY MILLENNIUM WAS DELYAED:

"There are a number of reasons for it's delay. Part of it was waiting for 'TV-DVD' to take off. Part of it was waiting until The X-Files was finished. The music clearence issues on this series is nothing compared to some of the other titles,so that was not a big factor,really. I hope it sells as I pushed this through some very skeptical people in the office.

...In short,dear fans,this is the first time Staddon has used the phrase "WILL BE OUT THIS YEAR". This news,combined with the report of Lance Henriksen doing a 30-minute interview for MillenniuM,seems to leave little doubt that our beloved,used and abused,but treasured masterpiece WILL indeed see the light of day sometime THIS YEAR!

Okay, so now I have to save money for something other than my term bill... my family's got a DVD player at home now, by golly, so I can't say I'm wasting money b\c I'll never be able to watch it! GEEEEE whoo! That's exciting news!

Now, we have to jump on him and make sure he can't back out... :angry::jumping: :grin2:

OH MY GOD!

This is the best news I've heard in a LONG time. I was pretty sure Millennium would be released but I NEVER thought Harsh Realm would be released. Did he say anything more about the Harsh Realm DVDs?

Hmm, I know I will get the MILLENNIUM SEASON ONE DVD and HARSH REALM DVD one way or another. Anyway, about time!!!! THE TIME IS VERY NEAR indeed.

....with dvd players as low as,get this,$29.99 at walmart,and dvd-rom drives for computers as slow as $20 you should/might be able to obtain one for your dorm room.-(one can only hope,eh? :praying: ) the dvd player will likely cost less than the box set!

Does anyone have a transcript of the entire chat?

I want to know what other FOX titles are heading for DVD (like when will THE PRETENDER be released since the French have aleready started releasing the show on DVD last month).

OH MY GOD!

.....as soon as i got the info i wanted/needed,which was MM oriented,i more or less bolted,but,no he said nothing further about HR when i was there. to tell you the truth,when he just came out and lumped harsh realm in with MM for release this year i was postively stunned! :eyes: ...it's not my fav show,that's for sure,but i know many here cherish it,so CONGRATS on that bit of icing on the MM-cake!

Maybe I'll be able to sell mine to my sister or something (she was given a TV for Christmas) and then buy a cheap DVD\VCR combo at Sam's or something. That'd be cool. Probably not, though, the way my pay's going right now; I got a paycheck of $36 today, but I had some bills and a necessary trip to Wal-Mart, and I spent $45, so I didn't do too well this time :tongue: But I'm resolved to put away half of all of my paychecks, and also pay back the $18 that I should've saved from this one, so I can at least pay off my term bill in the spring if not have money for great things, like MM DVDs and maybe a trip to Long Beach in March to USITT (if I can finagle most of the money out of the college).

And aw, feel better! I wish I knew the recipe to this orange-ginger tea that I have, but it's from my favorite professor Deborah. It's also known as "Ghetto Tea", because one of the main ingredients is Tang :tongue:

Well, good to know that you cared enough to hang around :tongue: What if right after you left, he said something amazingly shockingly bad or wonderful? You never know!

And yeah, I don't know why they're releasing HR, esp. since they canned it so quickly. Strange. But MILLENNIUM!, and that's all that matters! :jumping::jumping::jumping:
