...while i'm more than flattered by the kind words-(and,BTW,your replacement disc should be on it's way tuesday)-Denise and I STRONGLY encourage,if possible, for all people who ordered from us to support the official release(s). A topic on this will be forthcoming. (and no,the project is not going anywhere yet. )

The main reason I'm getting it the day it comes out is that the better it sells, the more foolish the folks at Fox look for mistreating it (and us) all these years. That was one of the motivating factors for my purchase of the Firefly DVD.

Well, there won't be the Japanese subtitles, but that doesn't bug some people. It will also be interesting to see what kind of extras are included; I do hope that they at least include a "making-of" documentary, and commentary on a couple of the shows, hopefully with Lance involved.

when MM premiered on ITV waaaay back ITV ran a program about the Academy Group, with chris Carter contributing (i think i remember correctly). I'd like to see that documentary as an extra

Well, one thing is for sure: The Moment I see the first MM-Box for pre-order, it will go straight into my basket. I hope there will be specials as good as on the X-Files-Boxes, at least Audio Commentary on various episodes (perhaps even by Chris Carter and Lance Henriksen). Plus eventually something like "The Truth about Season One" as on the X-Files :gaba:

So, this is to you FOX...

...DON´T LET US DOWN !

Enough "wait, worry, who cares ?"

I said this in another thread but I think it deserves it's own thread.

When Millennium Season 1 comes out on dvd; every member here had better buy a copy. If you don't that's just pathetic. As much as we've cried and begged to Fox and Peter Staddon, we had better make this mildly successful. I don't want to hear all the whiny excuses; "oh my doggy foofoo has the toe fungus, so I don't have the money now". We've all got plenty of time to save up for this. If you don't have the money you better start mowing lawns, washing dishes, cleaning houses. At the most this set is gonna cost $99.99 like the X-files sets(If you buy from BestBuy or Walmart). And for those without Dvd players; they're cheap now, you can get one at Walmart for $30. We spend time everyday on this message board, and if you can't pay a little bit to support our favorite tv show then that shows why it was canceled in the first place.  I've already got the word out to people that have showed interest in the show in the past. Let's not let Fox and Staddon think this was a bad decision. Let's make this a success to pave the way for all seasons of Millennium and for Lone Gunmen, and Space:Above and Beyond. The future of these releases are going to be partly determined by sales of Millennium. Let's not leave a bad taste in Fox/Staddon's mouth over this one.

MILLENNIUM SEASON 1: BUY OR DIE!!!!!!!!

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I had THAT problem with ER, I did not buy the first season thinking that the price would drop once subsequent seasons were released. Well, I saw Season 2 and 3 and bought those, but looked everywhere (except WEB shopping, which I avoid) and could NOT find season one. Well, it all worked out in the end, because on Father's day, they bought me season one (I was "hiding" 2&3 so the wife didn't know I was wasting my money).

BUT!!!!!! The VERY SECOND I saw Season One (and then two) on DVD, I snapped them suckers up faster than a toad hitting a bug! No questions from now on. Buy what you see as soon as you see it (assuming you can afford it). Don't hesitate.
