That was a very good episode of Law and Order tonight. Perhaps one reason why I liked it more was because the court scenes weren't taking place in the same court room as normal, because it was two young girls on trial.

Tonight also saw the return of Dr. Elizbeth Olivet.

BEER---> Law and Order (the original) is still right up there for me. Law and Order:CI, took over as my favorite. Bobby Goren's role is awsome. Anybody remember Vince D'Onofrio from "My Bodyguard" or "Mystic Pizza"?

Law and Order is the best modern day cop show in my opinion. It's a difficult show to get into at first but I got the hang of it. My only gripe is that the locations on the law half can get a bit boring when compared to the police story in the first half. Although sometimes you do get to see McCoy's assistant investigating the case by talking to people about it.

My fave character is Jerry Orbach's Lennie Briscoe. Good sense of humour.

BEER---> Yup, Lenny and whoever his partner is, do a very good job. Fred Thompson is very good as the DA. He gave up being a US Senator for this roll. Just watched '"The Cell" a couple of nights ago. I enjoyed it again.

For me, D'Onofrio's defining role was in "Full Metal Jacket." The first half of that movie (where D'Onofrio was more or less the primary character) was absolutely haunting!

I like CI the best, but I have a question. Eems was pregnant, by whom, where did the baby go and who is caring for it? is she single? was this a real life baby that she had?

Goerm (sp) seems to yell at the person until they yell OK I DID IT STOP YELLING AT ME OK??

In the real world, its not that tight for finding criminals- not like Murder she wrote where all of the criminals live in cabot cove.

so do we ever see everyone all together? how many Das do they have??

....she was indeed pregnent in real but on the show her character was acting as a surrogate mother for family?/freinds?

..i can't wait till she's back on as i DO NOT like the anal retentive new character acting in her stead. i just find her irratating as hell;she's like some low-rent clarice starling wannabe.

Are you asking how many DA's there are on all three Law and Order shows?

The most recent Law and Order episode I've seen was from Season 12 which Sky One are showing for the first time at the moment on Sunday nights - The Fire Next Time. These were the first episodes I saw with Jesse E. Martin as Ed Green with Season 10 afterwards (only two eps so far) and I think he's got into the role well at this time.

From the episodes I've read about and the lists there hasn't been a two-part story on any show for ages nor a crossover (yes, Serena Southerlyn and Arthur Branch have appeared in Special Victims Unit). The last time a crossover was done where most of the Law and Order cast crossed over to SVU was in that show's first season with the two-part crossover story Entitled. Olivia Benson (I've seen most of Season 1 and a bit of a couple of later episodes, and I think she is gorgeous). I'd like to see some more crossovers between the L & O series but most importantly a three way crossover. That would be ambitious! They were going to that towards the end of the 2001-02 season (something to do with 9/11) but the plans were shelved.

The last crossover to date with more than one member of the main cast was in the 7th episode of the first season of Criminal Intent Poison.

BEER---> I don't know if anyonne heard this, but Law and Order got a five (that's right 5) year renewal last season. No other program has ever been offered this. Well, maybe Johnny Carson.
