Perhaps FOX was so mad about all the petitions and requests to release MM on DVD, so that they just posted in their newsletters a forthcoming release to have no more annoying mails to answer...

...whoa,whoa, i seriously would take this response with a grain of salt. Too many things are now in motion for it's release -(the MM-soundtrack on "i-tunes",Henriksen doing the interview for S1,and mostly "HEAD" of FOX DVD releasing,Peter Staddon, outright,and with NO double-talk,saying it's release WILL be this year,likely fall.)

...it would be my best guess that any company,but especially FOX(LOL!)-does not always keep all the departments advised/informed of every release. And since MM is likely going to be a relatively small release,it's doubtfull that everyone who works at fox would even know about it. ...in a sense her staement is correct: she probably looked it up on some computer release list,and since there is not yet a firm release date set,it probably would not be in there. I'm "guessing" that confirmed titles with release dates would be in the average FOX-employee's computer.

....it is coming....."THE TIME 'WILL' BE NEAR!"

I agree with you se7en. I sent a mail to the german website of FOX, getting the same answer: FOX is currently not producing this title on DVD and there are no plans for a release in the near future. I guess when reading my mail those guys at FOX-Germany were going "Mill...what ?" :grin2:

I still think that "The Time Is Near..."

Got to agree with all you guys - the signs are too positive all around.

Bad communication with Fox's infrastructure is to blame here.

As David has said, the best of soundtrack appearing, Peter Staddon's confirmation plus the recent Fox News Letter which contained proof (more on MDUK about this). Plus as Se7en said, Lance has already taken part in at least one DVD Extra Feature.

Anyway, is it possible that MM is only coming out as a Region 1 DVD?
