Guest SouthernCelt Posted February 22, 2004 Share Posted February 22, 2004 Some of you might find this dream interesting. I was staying overnight with a family but did not know who they were. As I was about to go to bed, I looked out the bedroom window and saw unusual lights in the sky. I don't know how I knew but I was looking at the eastern sky. First I saw what seemed to be a shooting star but it stopped in midflight, paused for a moment, then moved away in different direction. I then began to see a lot of lights in various patterns moving about the sky. Suddenly I realized that the bedroom I was in was on the second floor of the house (it had been on the first floor earlier) and I could look down on some activity in the yard. Frank Black and some other men (unidentifiable) were attempting to create a driveable surface to bring a vehicle up close to the house. I suddenly was part of the group below and realized that Frank and the others were trying to get a truck up to a door into the house in order to load an old man into the truck bed. I became aware that the old man was dying but the rush to get him into a vehicle wasn't to take him for medical attention but to remove him from the house to prevent his soul from being taken by evil forces. I helped load him into the truck and got in the cab with Frank who drove. As we pulled onto the road heading east, I could see a cloud building from the south. The cloud was an ugly shade of brown (taken as being "dirty" in my mind) and was beginning to take the shape of a demonic creature. As we accelerated down the road, we entered a low marshy area that the road traversed on a narrow bridge. Suddenly the disembodied spirits of people killed in wrecks along this road and bridge began to appear in front of the truck as though they were trying to slow it. I looked through the back window and saw the cloud had "grown" an arm and hand of the same dirty mist and was reaching for the truck. Just as the hand closed around the truck, blocking our view of the road, I woke up. The first part of this dream--the lights in the sky--was a new version of a dream I have had periodically all my life, even before Close Encounters of the Third Kind created "lights in the sky" imagery. Although the setting and situation are different each time I have this dream, I always seem to know that the lights in the sky are under intelligent control and that most of them are not from this world. Although it did not occur in this round of the dream, sometimes an aerial/space battle ensues meaning that humans are piloting some of the "ships." As to the latter part of the dream, this is the first Millennium-connected dream that I've ever had (or at least the first that I've ever remembered upon waking). You might think this dream would qualify as a nightmare and I would have awakened in an agitated state, but that was not the case. The dream was interesting and I wished that it could have continued. Well, actually, i remember that one was a kind of cross between PPTD and The Fourth Horseman. It had the angel guy ( you know, the guy that makes a straight guy like me question their own sexuality )and some kind of frog plague. yes, frog plague. YES. frog plague. Beerbelch Posted March 7, 2004 Share Posted March 7, 2004 Ok I wasnt gonna tell anyone this dream as Im concerned what it may suggest, but what the Gehenna. About 6 months ago I dreamt me and my best bud were in this almost medievil village. It was night and we were backed into a corner with all these angry people about to stone us. I was rather concerned about how much sweat I was producing. Then like a fairy tale up gallopes these two black horses with two black hooded riders. The one whipped out a gun and even though I couldnt see his face I knew it was our Frank and I thought 'Im getting on that horsey' The nasty angry people backed off and myself and my friend mounted. Frank said the other guy was from the group but I didnt think he ment the mm group. We rode for ages and ended up in my mothers living room and lit candles as electricity didnt exsist. I didnt give a thought to where my parents were but was concerned for the cat. I went to the window to look and said 'there she is' but then all these cats started apearing on the lawn and I screamed 'why is there 13 cats, theres 13 cats outside'. Everyone rushed to the window and I saw Frank had removed his hood but he started panicing about all these cats. We heard a noise and looked up to see Mary Poppins leaping over the wall on a white horse. She came into the house and we were all like 'wow its Mary Poppins man, how cool' But Frank freaked out and kept asking for her autograph. Mary wasnt in a good mood and was demanding to know where the nearest off licence was and would it be open. My last thought was ' I havnt got any beer money'. BEER---> Never be without beer money.
