Guest WaveCrest
Got some good news for people who have been waiting ages to see the horror comedy film Bubba Ho-Tep starring Bruce Campbell and Ossie Davis. It's coming out on R1 DVD at the end of May. Go to Amazon.com and it has details of what extras there will be on the disc. Loads! I first found out that the movie would be out on DVD finally, in the new issue of DVD Review.

voidprime
I bought this DVD today from the market along with dawn of the dead, monster and serial insane clown killer but I have not watched any of them yet. Im presuming then that its quite good. Bootleg DVDs?! Be Seeing You, David Blackwell
Guest se7en
.....I don't blame you one bit. I often do the same thing. Only if i end up not liking it i'll give it away, but if i do i always get the original. ...of course now that i use netflix that's not really an issue anymore. se7en
Raven Wolf
Its the same with music. Im not gonna spend £16 on a CD that Ive heard one song from, but Id pay £2. If its crap its crap but if I like it Im gonna go see the band, buy a tshirt etc . I may even became a huge fan and buy their entire back catologe. The point being of course, they would never see any of my money if it wasnt for illegal copies introducing me to them. Bootlegs P.s Still havent watched it yet. Hmmmm....Never thought of it that way! Maybe we should use that line to get the law off the backs of bootleggers?
voidprime
My problem with bootlegs is the people who made the movie aren't making a dime from it. I have bought bootleg CDs in the past (live concert stuff), but I try to refrain from bootlegs. I'll usually do a blind buy for a good price or rent the thing first.
