Guest kath
Ok, This should have been in real life, but, its a video, But it happened. the major shopping weekend in december before christmas a tractor trailer jacknifes as it exits the bridge and traffic is stuck on the bridge. The bridge collapses and sends 40 cars into the shallow river below. Of those cars, only 2 people are not found. The tragedy is on the news, and back then, something like that would have filled the papers & news for months... but by the next day, there was nothing. no word if the missing people had been found, the state of the people who were in the cars, how many died, etc. I happened to have met one of the extras in the movie, who would discuss how the filming went, and her roll in it. As it ended, she and the others had formed a group - a bond- and they felt the movie and the message found in the movie had profoundly changed their lives, and she agreed. there was an information black out on the bridge and why it collapsed. Its coming out today, and I have a copy of it set aside at the video store,( I have connections there) and I may rent it first, or buy it, I just have a feeling from seeing the photos - knowing where it was filmed, that it will be a bit- too real for me. Has any one else seen the movie? Kath

voidprime
I liked this movie when I saw it. Very interesting movie evn though they placed the movie in the present day (instead of when the events took place back in the 1960s I believe). Be Seeing You, David Blackwell "Don't tug on that, you never know what it might be attached to. "- Buckaroo Banzai "There are no answers- only choices." Raven Wolf
Kath, Yes, I've seen this movie...(more like..."experienced it") And I agree that it was one of the most moving and disturbing ones I've ever seen. You don't look at things quite the same way after that. ~Raven...
Guest amnesic
i think the IMDB page for this movie has some interesting links to sites about MOthman (in the message board section). it's been a while, but i think that the primary journalist "researching" mothman was a fraud and manufactured much of the story to sell his book https://www.csicop.org/si/2002-05/barker.html Edited April 28, 2004 by amnesic
Guest se7en
......ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE MOVIES OF ANY GENRE. the 2-disc special edition came out last april/may and it was worth my $19 to buy it twice.-(after the barebones version came out the previous year.) ...the special edition was the rare example of the FANS asking for one,and even petioning the studio for it. as of now the dvd has earned as much as the movie grossed in the theaters. it is one of the great success stories of a cult movie in our times. without giving anything away the special-edition-bonus disc is VERY worthy of the title. BRILLIANT MOVIE! se7en

Guest Seraphim
I have ordered from Deep Discount before. I usually order my anime through Digital Eyes, which is also in Itasca, IL and owned (If I am not mistaken) by the same company. I actually looked for it at the video store just now. All they had was the regular version. Bah... No X-Files TV boxsets either. I would say I am a fan, despite it having Richard Gere. I have known about the story it's based upon since I was a kid. I have always loved the unexplained.
