i thought some of you might be interested in this movie. the comic its based off, hellblazer, is really good and im a big fan of it. the only thing the movie and the comic have similar is the name John Constantine, otherwise i am pissed about it. in the comic constantine is a blond-haired brit in the UK, but in the movie they have him as a black-haired american in LA! wtf!!! also you have to be 18 to buy the comic and yet they want to make the movie PG-13. i have never seen a comic book adaptation get so raped before. but the trailer is kind of interesting so check it out:

I hear ya, 19:19. I may not have read many issues of the comic book, but I want a blond haired Brit and not Keanu Reeves (no matter how much I liked some of the movies he has been in).

this could have been such a great movie but hollywood just had to go and mess it all up. I would have loved a young gary oldman as constantine. hopefully its decent as best. i pray to god its not as bad as lxg. i never read the comics but my cousin did and he just went off after we watched it on how it just destroyed all that the comic was. seriously, how hard is it to pick up the comic and read it.

I read the LXG comics and howled at how bad the movie was. There was actually some character stuff in the delted scenes on the LXG DVD that helped made the movie better. Although the last 30 minutes of LXG were overlong.
