Hi Blackoil, really enjoyed your breakdown of possibilities :)

I'm guessing that 'Fence Walker' is the US version of the English 'Fence Sitter' i.e. someone who adopts the neutral position and doesn't side with any faction or opinion.

I have increasing doubts about what is going on here as information seems to be coming too easily. In the early days of 'Done One' secrecy was so high that even actors like Lance were unable to state the fact they weren't in it never mind confirm exactly who was. With this, a matter of weeks into filming, we have crew announcing their involvement on their blogs, Xzibity talking of his involvement freely and the crew over in Bellflower 'singing like canaries' to any passerby. As far as I am aware the shooting title of 'Done One' was only ascertained through leaks and investigations done by the fanbase yet with this we have a title from the off.

It just strikes me as a little unlike the secrecy we have witnessed with other 1013 projects and whilst nothing concrete has been gleaned the fact that anything has be gleaned makes me wonder what it's all about.

The picture of the women looks very much like the one I saw outside of the "somerset city credit union", except her hair was up in a pony tail wearing jeans and a green tank top. There was also a man sitting down near the food cart who kinda looked like frank...but he looks to be tall guy and this guy looked kinda a tad short sitting down(prob just a food vendor I thought). I will be more aware of what/who to look for. I was doing some research on MM last night and I was thinking maybe its a sort of crossover (fence walker-between two projects)movie...hence xzibits role in the film...maybe more of a backstory involving him? Also finally got all my pictures uploaded to a hosting site, I will let you know when I update it with new pictures, I have the photos in albums by the days I took them. Enjoy! alby25 "f.w." pics

Nice photos, alby. Lots of blue sky. Is Bellflower far enough away from Los Angeles not to have the smog that L.A. is reputed to be covered with most of the time? I recall a documentary where CC said that Bellflower when he was young was more like a small mid-western town, rather than a suburb of L.A. That's what it looks like in the photos, is that what it's like to live there now?

We get alot of blue sky depending on the weather here...lately we have had marine layers in the morning with heavy clouds and fog then they burn off my noon making it alot nicer...we do get smog though. I try not to think about what is in the air here. My whole family grew up in this area...back in the good ol days(for them) it was really nice here...it was basically a midwestern town you could leave the doors unlocked you actually knew the neighbors ect. We even got a ton of ufo sittings back then too. Alot of what you see in the pictures is on Bellflower Blvd they have done alot of work in the past year making it look really fantastic once more. It still has some of that old charm left to it depending on the area. However the the city is far from what it use to be...this whole area the citys of bellflower,cerritos,lakewood used to be a wonderful place, but quite a bit has changed sadly. More crime takes place now. Most of the areas surrounding the areas have been getting pretty "sad/scary" looking. Just seams as if its getting worse by the years then better.Personally most of the time I feel like Im living in another country rather then the small town of bellflower these days.

Hmmm... I don't know. Actually the only thing we have right now is just reports from the residents of Bellflower, Xzibit's words and some guy's note on Myspace. And this domain information. That's all. It seems like the crew has no idea what they are filming.

The Done One situation was different. There was huge attention from the media and if I am not mistaken it was first reported in the press that Done One is a cover name for XF2. X-philes didn't uncover it.

As for Fencewalker, it looks like the media has no idea that Chris Carter is actually filming something. And it means that maybe it's a really low profile project (so the press doesn't give a shit) or secrecy level is really high.

Right now I'm starting to believe that Fencewaller is some kind of an independent movie production. Something Chris Carter is really interested in. Reports say it's a low budget movie and the fact that Ten Thirteen Productions (not the big studio) registered domain name means that they're producing and filming it on their own. It's just my thoughts, though. I could be wrong. :)

I don't have Myspace account so I guess I can't contact this guy. Maybe someone else can? By the way, I checked this guy's page on IMDb. He worked on Day Break and this show was created by many 1013 alumni. Another connection?

Alby, once again thank you for your reports and photos. Bellflower looks like a really beatiful town. :)

I agree some of the crew dont seam to know that much...heck I knew more then the one my aunt talked to yesterday. I know they usualy all state the same thing...oh yeah its called fencewalkers and there is no big stars in it....its like most of them have been briefed lol. The higher up people say more to people who they are using there property ect. I know that no local media here has covered any of it at all. I think our city has a hush policy on it in the news. Not only on this but also in general stuff that should make the news here doesnt....and when you call the news they just say oh yeah we know. And nothing at all is ever shown on the news or in papers, "nothing ever happens in bellflower". But if for some reason they start talking about it on the news I will get the links for y'all. No prob with all the reports...I will keep them coming as long as CC is making the rounds in his hometown.***after one i figured I would go out to see if I could get a shot of the front of the "somerset city credit union" but it was totally cleaned up and gone like nothing was ever there...trying to find out where they are filming at now*** Other news while google searching around looks as if the actress Katie Cassidy (supernatural,taken) is playing one of the leads in a new movie called "fence walker" hmmm it sounds as if it has to be the same fence walker as we are talking about here. katie cassidy fan site also a few other sites talking about her being in "fence walkers".

This is really strange. I'm really beginning to think it is a new project for Carter. It is a bit surprising to believe that he is moving on to something completely new. After all, he has not created anything new since Harsh Realm back in 1999. His other projects sadly never left the ground (ted serios, philosophical investigation...).

Alby's mention of Katie Cassidy is a wonderful scoop, on her website it is noted that, in regards to "Fence Walkers",

"She wanted this role SO badly, as it is much different that what she has recently been doing. She will play the wife of a young politician who is being groomed for the presidency"

and whilst it is grammatical crap the intention is enticingly different from our expectations regarding standard Carter fare. It is just superb that the man is back in the picture given the huge hiatus he took in his work. I believed a member commented earlier on that CC was a workaholic though I doubt that one project in nine years is evidential of such a thing I hope his output becomes as prolific as it was a decade ago when I believed he was the only individual creating anything of substance on our screens.

Indeed that was me! And even if I agree that one film in 6 years is not very prolific, I'd argue that directing two feature films at the same time is a huge work load, so much that I'm worried how it would impact on the quality of the final product. Carter seems to have an on/off button, it was very on during the period when XF/Millennium/XF movie were made at the same time, and then it was completely off during 2002-2007. I'm glad he's found his strength again (it seems) but I still find all this secret shooting deal suspicious.
