BEER----> Snuck out of the office yesterday to go see the new one. I enjoyed it very much and left asking if I could come back next week for another episode. Nimoy had quite a bit of screen time and that worked out good too.

Anybody else see it yet.

I quite agree! I went expecting NOT to like it and loved it. If not for the fact that several other movies are coming out one right after another, I would see it many times. Of course it will be awesome at the drive-in on the BIG screen[ I'll have to think about that ]. I am so glad they are already planning a sequel with at least one of the same writers

JJ Abrams's Star Trek looks a bit too MTV slick and shiny for me.

Agreed. I miss the more "contemplative" feel of some of the original movies (I, II and V).

Although, I haven't seen it yet, so I might change my mind like Walkabout.

Star Trek Beyond Director Unveils First Image

It’s official – ‘Star Trek 3’ will be called ‘Star Trek Beyond’. And director Justin Lin has just given us our first glimpse.

Appearing on Twitter, the 43-year-old ‘Star Trek’ director has given us a first look from the set of ‘Star Trek Beyond’. But while he confirms the film will be called ‘Star Trek Beyond’, it doesn’t really tell us much else.

“Let the next Starfleet voyage begin!,” he said, “#StarTrekBeyond #LLAP”
