Sigil Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 When Millennium was first broadcast, I found a hard cover calendar with lots of pics and quotes in it. Very atmospheric and fun. I bought it right away and have kept it in great shape. How much is something like this worth now? I check eBay from time to time but never have seen it again. I am NOT interested in selling but just wondering for an Antiques Roadshow sort of valuation.
ethsnafu Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Hi Sigil, 'Antique's Roadshow' are you a fellow Limey by any chance? I have one of these and fought tooth and nail for it at the time. Sadly I saw one go on Ebay about two months ago for next to nothing. There were some lovely clippings from British magazines about Millennium that I caught just about to end at £0.99 so I pounced. Sadly, Millennium's currency has devalued a lot of late. But I still cherish the items I have. Eth
Sigil Posted July 23, 2009 Author Posted July 23, 2009 Thanks. Well bad news if you own... good news if you are like me and looking to acquire items. :) To your other question... yes and no. :)
Sigil Posted September 24, 2009 Author Posted September 24, 2009 I just found one on eBay and it can be had in the States for less than 10 dollars. https://cgi.ebay.com/Millennium-1998-Desk-Calendar-HC-X-Files-Chris-Carter_W0QQitemZ300350020622QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item45ee419c0e&_trksid=p3286.m20.l1116
Elders (Admins) The Old Man Posted September 25, 2009 Elders (Admins) Posted September 25, 2009 I have one of these too, its very nice indeed. I've been trying to find it in my ebay e-mails to see how much I paid for it, but I can't seem to find it.
Earthnut Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 Did any of you check out Amazon? I feel their prices are better there. Just a thought.
Walkabout Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 could not find MilleniuM or X-files calendars at Amazon
Sigil Posted September 26, 2009 Author Posted September 26, 2009 This is a 1998 Calendar, long pulled from the lists at Amazon. Your only hope is a place like eBay.
