2012 - Apocalypse Now or Never

I believe the BIG end will come. I just don't think it's likely to be 2012 or anytime around it.

I guess I'm pretty similar in thinking to the above. I have to say that Mayan cosmology is not my strong point but the Spooktalkular guys did a great podcast about 2012 and a lady was the guest on that show and did know a hell of a lot about it. She stated that the Mayan's never intended the end of the calendar in 2012 to signify an apocalypse of any kind. I can't recall the explanation she gave for why the calendar ended there (maybe Laura can help) but in her opinion it was a pretty benign reason. I'm sure an end of some sort will come, my guess is that will come in the form of a plague much like Millennium suggested but not for many more years I hope.

Darlene you are so wise, i hope to be as wise as you one day! As far as miracle, i like to think i live my life as if everyday is a miracle. I believe in miracles and have witnessed a few in my time. I believe in God and believe that only he knows when time will end, we can only guess and wonder! To me, its a miracle that I found all you wonderful people here, you all have brought so much joy and happiness into life with your dear freindships.
