ethsnafu
Hi there folks, Now I heard a rumour (and it was just that) that Frank may have completed work on a Pilot for FX but I saw an old report, back from 2004, today and I became intrigued and wondered if you guys knew anything about this. The following was reported by thefutoncritic.com back in 08.25.04 with a host of other news that proved to be accurate: UNTITLED FRANK SPOTNITZ PROJECT (New!) - "The X-Files" veteran Frank Spotnitz has signed a multi-year, seven-figure overall deal with Touchstone Television. The pact calls for Spotnitz to development new programs as well as possibly shepherd other projects for the studio. Spotnitz's last TV effort was the short-lived CBS drama "Robbery Homicide Division." Now I know that touchstone approached Frank just as he was coming off Robbery Homicide Division with an idea about developing The Night Stalker but what happened after that? If someone signs a deal that is a multi-year contract with a hefty wad of cash attached to it and their first offering doesn't capture the hearts and minds of the public in the way Touchstone would have hoped, does that mean that all bets are off and the contract is torn up? ethsnafu
Thank you so much for that Laurence. Frank Spotnitz and Ridley Scott? That's awesome. I cannot find any further information about this project at all so guess we are going to have to be patient when it comes to news but after the news that Humanitas looks to be dormant this is pretty damn exciting. Please keep us updated if you hear anything else on the grapevine. Eth
Guest WaveCrest
It sounds alright Arc, but I would have preferred seeing a TV series version of The Star Chamber.
