Guest Tayune
Ever since I was younger I've always been able to sense things. Most people think I'm crazy upon hearing it but when it actually happens - they magically forget I even said it. Recently I've been having dreams, they are kinda fuzzy to me now though. All I know is that they scare the hell outta me and there is a lot of fire and blinding light. They keep getting worse too. So, does anyone else have Prophetic Dreams? HighPlainsDrifter
I do but it is more on the line of extinction of man.
ethsnafu
I don't at all, I would have made the worst possible candidate for a Millennium Group member you can think of. Most of my night-time musings are made up of snatches of teevee I just watched, odd memories I thought I had forgotten and bits and bobs of dialogue from conversations I have that day. Oh and the dreaded 'everything goes wrong at work' dream that I have quite often. Hardly the next Frank Black :) Eth
Earthnut
Hope you don't mind if I jump in here and say something about dreams. The mind does remember things that it saw and heard throughout the day and very often when we sleep it recalls them. I have heard that it happens more often on a very full stomach or if you had been drinking. Dreams are usually the inner man speaking to the outer man. The inner man being the spirit. The things we see in our dreams are symbols used from our spirit to help us understand in our mind what is being said. Fire is symbolic of purification, and light is illumination, where darkness is symbolic of ignorance. Prophetic dreams will align or agree with the Word, otherwise, they should be understood with caution. Emotions also can play a very important part and need to be kept in check before going to sleep. There's an old saying to never let the sun go down on your wrath and it is good advice. Never go to sleep angry. What you do before going to sleep does affect you. I never watch a horror flick before bed, that way it's not as fresh in my mind to wake me up in the middle of the night screaming. LOL Of course, it still doesn't mean my mind won't recall it, and it's usually the parts that affected me emotionally, like if I got scared. Hope this helped.

Yeah, I read that's what dreams were about at one time or another. That's why I'm a little skeptical of my own dreams sometimes. But then I remember I've been having dreams like this since I was a child. Anyway, thanks for all the info, Earthnut. I'm almost always up for learning/better understanding stuff (unless it's totally boring that is...). XD
Sigil
I have had dreams that have come true, but many more that have not... It makes the whole thing a bit useless really, unless I can figure out a way to improve the way I find out what is what.
Earthnut
Tayune, you are very welcome. I do hope I helped. I certainly try hard. Prophetic dreams will align or agree with the Word, otherwise, they should be understood with caution. I am quoting myself because I feel the need to add that we need to be very careful about how we interpret our dreams. So often they can be the mind recalling things of the day and the emotions reliving those moments. Also, sometimes when dreams come true, it is because we are fulfilling them ourselves. It reminds me of a quote I heard from, I think it was Criminal Minds but I'm not positive, it could have been from another show. It's as follows: ~ ~ To know the future is to be trapped in it. ~ ~ I feel that we must live in the moment to be truly free and happy.
