I tried as well and couldn't find anything. If nothing turns up might I suggest emailing Frank Spotnitz at Big Light on questions@biglight.com (making sure you put your name and location as well as the subject in the email header) as I know he has received a number of location enquiries with regards to the X-Files and he often gives the answer via his Blog.

Here's hoping someone can help you.

Thanks for this question DLN, I'd like to know the answer myself. Please remember to come back here and post it if you find out. Force Majeure is one of my favorite episodes because of the subject matter. I've been trying to find out the title of the Mark Snow music that's played in the episode. Can't find that info. anywhere.

It's the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts - in Deer Park, Burnaby. This is the Google images link:

https://images.google...F-8&sa=N&tab=wi

The Centre does have it's own website:

https://www.shadboltcentre.com/

but I can't connect to it - Firefox reports that it can't find the server.

I've been searching all over for this, this weekend, and even asked on the Haven. Then I went back and did a proper search on what I've got on my computer and found an edition of The Millennial Comet (Brian Dixon's newsletter) where it's mentioned in a fan's report of her visit to Vancouver. This report has some really nice things to say about the cast and crew, especially Lance. I'll post some of it over on Lance's forum.

Thanks, Darlene. I was so sure I had read something about this location, but it was definitely a Homer Simpson moment when I realised I had the answer here all the time. Goodness knows what other treasures I might have.

This was brilliant Libby, well done! I was just reading the article in the other topic and saw the name of the planetarium!

I can't believe their website has gone, its on the Internet Archive from way back:

https://web.archive.org/web/*/https://www.shadboltcentre.com

but it just seems to be the home page. There must have been more because Google has links to the various sections of their site.

I found an image too, I truly hope it hasn't closed down. That would be a shame.

I also can't believe there is no Wikipedia entry for it.
