Incinerator Earth

Hope this is the best place to post this, and if not, I hope it gets moved to its proper place. I know you will all love this video, and probably others on the page. I sure did. I always love watching a production from Natl. Geo. This particular one is about Earth and asteroids, which as we all know is the number one theory as to what wiped out the dinosaurs. What scientists have come up with is absolutely awesome. Enjoy:

Though I clicked hoping to see dinos, I find the ethical question at the end most compelling. Do we let nature do what it intends, or do we roll out the valuations of the forensic economists and find the least "costly" strike point?

We live in a world where too many people won't go far enough... won't do what they know is right... what they believe. I don't know how or why it got this way but the world has become so complicated, to involve yourself in someone else's problems is to invite them needlessly on yourself. ~ Frank Black

Wow, what an awesome question. Thanks Sigil.

I would normally lean towards nature, but considering how mankind is destroying this planet with his pollution, etc., we all desperately need to do something to preserve it for our grandchildren and their children's children.
