Sarah-Jane Redmond "the Building"

Recommended Posts

Dear friends,

As you probably know, there was word that the mighty SJR had starred in a movie in 2009 known as "The Building". To this day I still don't know what the film is about or when it was released and in which regions but I did happen to come across a trailer today that I thought I would share. If anyone has any info about the film please share. What the world needs now is a little more SJR right?

Here's the IMDb link, but it doesn't say a word about SJR. Oh well.

Thanks for posting the trailer for The Bridge Mark. I will watch it tomorrow. I'm hoping one day Smile of April will get released!

Darlene, here's the correct IMDB Page for the film and you can see Sarah-Jane Redmond is listed there alongside Millenniums Keegan Conner Tracy (Omerta) and April Telek (Pilot, Nostalgia). Now as I mentioned there is very little out there about this but I did manage to happen across a poster and a synopsis.

Stuck in her Manhattan apartment because of a difficult pregnancy, reporter Jules Wilde is bored and restless.

When one of her friends gives her a baby monitor as a present, she realizes that it picks up her neighbors' phone calls. Jules quickly becomes addicted to spying on the people in her building.

But what started off as a game quickly turns sinister. After a mysterious disappearance followed by a murder, Jules hears things that lead her to believe one of her neighbors, Monk, could be the killer...

I have to say I am really looking forward to seeing this whenever it released.

Wow Mark, that's a different page then the one I found there. Why would they have 2?

A number of films and television programmes share the same title Darlene that's why there might be more than IMDB page indicated in the search results. There are three entries for the title Millennium for example. One for the 1989 movie of that name starring Kris Kristofferson, one for our own Millennium and one for a 2010 TV series of the same name.

The Building reveals there are four films or TV series' of that name including the one featuring Sarah-Jane Redmond. It's easy to get confused when you look at it like that.

Obviously I got confused, so thanks for watching my back. This was the first time I had heard of this movie. The link I posted is from 1993, which I admit I paid no attention to, and yours is from 2009, the correct one. I look forward to seeing it.

There's a Canadian TV series called The Bridge, which aired on CTV and will be airing on CBS soon.

I have to say, that poster for The Bridge which Sarah-Jane Redmond stars in is lovely. Love the use of blue, and the image of the actress in the top right hand corner gets top marks from me. Who is she? Very gorgeous. :notworthy:

EDIT: Just watched the trailer posted above. Very good!
