From what I can gather this was an independent production that cost little more than $6000 to make which is a considerable achieve considering the production values. It is freely available to own and you can even download it from their official website here. It would seem they are currently seeking donations to allow them to make a second instalment of the series and it seems to be going well as the response has been so good. I only caught parts of it at Youtube as it was slow loading so I am going to download it from their website and watch it later. Looking forward to it.
