ethsnafu
Dear friends, some of you may already be aware of this but it isn't too late acquire a bottle for yourself and help charity in the process if it's all new to you. Vajra Wright is a perfumier with 20 years of olfactory experience and a quirky idea evolved between the two of us to turn 'Midnight Of The Century' into a scent. Imagine that, capturing the essence of the episode in a bottle to serve as a fragrant treat for Millennium fans during the festive season and beyond. I contacted Kay Reidl (who wrote the episode) and she very kindly gave her permission to us to concoct of scent worthy of her episode. Vajra got to work on her creation and 'Midnight Of The Century' was born and and to perfectly capture the essence of the episode, Vajra took inspiration from the otherworldly aroma of sacred offerings: resinous billows of frankincense and myrrh smoke, the built up wax from ages of burned beeswax candles, sacramental wine sweetened with milk and honey, slices of oven-fresh cranberry bread, garlands of holiday greens and flecks of gold foil from worn Byzantine saint icons. Intrigued to discover what the episode smells like? I thought you might be. Do head on over to Conjure Oils and look at the remarkable assortment of scents on offer but in particular pay attention to our very own scent, for our very own celebration 'Midnight Of The Century'. If you haven't already snapped up a bottle for yourself be sure to do so as these are limited editions and quite collectible to boot. Remember, every inexpensive purchase you make means that a percentage of the cost will be given charity and what better time of year to have a little charity in our hearts. So, my gratitude to Vajra Wright and to Kay Reindl for their inspired ideas and here's hoping you will get the chance to treat yourself to a little something 'Millennium' for the festive season. Merry Christmas. Eth ]

ethsnafu
It smells like 'Midnight Of The Century' so you know it's going to be absolutely delightful. I am waiting for mine to arrive and absolutely gagging to take my first sniff. It's going to become a part of my Christmas festivities each and every year methinks. My gratitude, as always, to Vajra for her creativity and support. Eth

Guest WaveCrest
It's likely because of the Christmas post being very busy, and the bad weather.
