A plea for help

Recommended Posts

Whether you believe in God or not, the inward journey is a must. We all have to make peace within ourselves first, and face our greatest fears, before we can make peace with anyone else in our life.

For those of you who do believe in God, then may I remind you and I of what the Word says, "The Kingdom of God is within you."

I give my love to you all with a poem written by my son, Robert, who crossed over in July of 08.

The Golden Thread That Binds Us

(“Your title, my wizardry, our lives, our tears and our enduring love has fashioned this.

For you, Darlene Emily, and Merry Christmas.”) (2003)

Take me, further, deeper in the mist you come from

Heal me, longer, as you have somewhere inside

Gilded thoughts can go around

To weave the fabric we are bound

Look at both of us, that life has raged

Yet we move well beyond

The feelings of heart we trust

The slightest touch our needs are built upon

For we give more than we can

And strengthen the love between us again

Silver is the moonlight breathing

Hope becomes ambition leading

Two can be worlds apart

While sleeping beneath the same dark sky

Now I, am one hand at one end, never giving up

And you, on the other hand, looking up

Tied the golden thread that binds us

Trace me, slowly, from the place within your mind of drawings

Feel me, closer, to fill the empty space

Ancient word, become more profound

Immortal voice, echoes without a sound

Think of all the times our sight were gone

Punished by our trust

For we as children cried not looking back

We looked ahead for us

These sapphire eyes see where you’ve been

As what we’ve lost is just a new chance to begin

Throw a glimpse at the sun unblinking

Remember what things are worth believing

Even a ghost from the past

Can make the fulfillment of our dreams last

Now I, am one hand at one end, never giving up

And you, on the other hand, looking up

Tied the golden thread that binds us

Until we return somewhere in time

I love you,

Robert

"Time is too slow for those who wait; too swift for those who fear;

too long for  those who grieve; too short for those who rejoice.

But for those who love, time is eternity."
