Oooh, any chance of a picture? Decades ago, I made a cape with a hood for evening wear, as that was better than a coat in cold weather as a coat could crush my posh frock. I felt all romantic and enigmatic wearing that. I don't know what happened to it - probably my daughter "borrowed" it.
