I have the two seasons and just like Millennium, it got booted way too soon. I've watched it twice and made a copy of it for my girlfriend who really enjoyed it too. Very character driven and so very well acted. notworthy.gif

I bought the season 1 set a long while ago, but couldn't set aside time to really get into it. I remember thinking that the first episode was very good.

It's now on my to-watch list.

You won't regret it Libby! It may have been wrapped up in Season 2 but its essential viewing!

Please come back and tell us what you think. Talking about it makes me want to watch it again, but right now I'm watching The Dead Zone series. Fixin' to start season two.

Great last episode. A cliffhanger that had obviously been building right through the two seasons but only really became apparent over the last two episodes. Any David Bowie fans out there? I've often thought as I listen to it that a main refrain from the theme music sounds very much like his "Warsawa" from his 1977 Low album. I rarely see series I like so much. But therush to closure" due to the series ending means that the development of the plot lines suffer from an accelerated treatment and much is left unresolved. I would have liked a companion-style book by the creator to help me put it all together. Come to think of it, I could use one of those for Millennium!

I have in a word document of the series concept and background by Daniel Knauf, the creator. It's too long to post here, and I know you will enjoy reading it after seeing the series. It's called his "Pitch Document." Wikipedia has a lot of interesting information on the series, and here's the link to the search for the document.

Enjoy ! ! !

Thanks Earthnut. I will look for that. The final episode got me thinking of how avatrs for evil are thrown up in every generation and how interesting it might have been if someone had explored how a grandparent of Frank may have encountered "evil" in a previous time. The last episode of Carnivale suggests the "descent" of evil through the child, and we know that Frank's mother and daughter have the "gift" so anything's possible.
