Beerbelch
BEER----> Anybody watch the pilot last night (1hr 10min +/-) on the FX cable network. Some good people in it. Good to see an updated scary program, without vampires. It may be difficult to keep it going because there's only a few of us who would watch this stle of program. I hope it can get some legs. ----- Watch it and see what you think? BELCH

wolvesevolve
That was about the most disturbing thing I've seen produced for television....and for a pilot? Wow. i'm looking forward to where else they're going with this series, but it's probably alienating a large audience...

wolvesevolve
I hope the schizophrenic pace of the pilot will not hold over to the rest of the eps....that was my only quibble, that so much was crammed into the pilot in haphazard way (sometimes seemingly gratuitous like the catfight scenes at school...teenager stuff is a bit cliche too I guess) that was also reflected in the camera work and editing. A bit overwhelming. Just with the stuff presented in the pilot they have a few seasons worth of material to explore
Beerbelch
BEER---> I still like the casting; Dylan McDermott, Connie Britton, Jessica Lange, Frances Conroy, etc. The twins, the mongoloid girl and especially the maid (I'm a guy). They seem to work well together in modern day Los Angeles. BELCH
Elders (Admins) Libby Posted October 8, 2011 Elders (Admins) Share Posted October 8, 2011 It premieres here in the UK on FX on 7 November. I have pinned a note on my notice board to remind me.
HighPlainsDrifter
Ok after watching the pilot I had to take a hot shower and read a few passages from the Bible. Now that I am back to normal I can finally function. What a bizarre and horrifying vision that came from the mind of the Glee creator Ryan Murphy. I like this series in a very uncomfortable way. This could be 2011's The Walking Dead.
Earthnut
WOW ~ I have got to see the pilot, that way I will know if I want to see, or can handle, the second episode or not. Joseph, which passages did you read?
HighPlainsDrifter
23 Psalm The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name' sake.Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: For thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; Thou annointest my head with oil; My cup runneth over.Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the House of the Lord forever.
