30 millions isnt enough? lol. how much does it cost for duct tape, a saw (for removing offending limbs) and a silly convoluted plot?

According to wikipedia, the budget for XF2 was $30m but I don't know whether that was just for production or also included promotion. Anyway, $30m isn't a huge amount in Hollywood terms, and both Kiefer Sutherland and "24" fans are a guaranteed audience. And why pull the plug so close to starting filming - there would have been a lot of organisation already done to get to this point. It must be hugely disappointing for all the cast and crew to get geared up so far, and then find they're out of a job.

I've just looked at "Touch" on imdb. Yet another potentially interesting TV show that I hope will last long enough to make its way over to the UK. I'll have to start keeping notes on such TV shows, so I don't miss them should they appear on UK schedules, especially as Fox has long held the record for being quick on hitting the cancel button.

here are pics of the march 2011 'supermoon'. the next one won't appear until nov.2016. a 'supermoon' is a full moon when the moon is its cloest orbit of the earth.

It's beautiful. And big since he used a camera-equiped telescope, bringing the moon even closer.

"Touch" premieres here in the UK next Tuesday, so I've set my Sky box to record it.

I like recording programmes, because I can then fast-forward through the adverts. But the downside is missing previews for any interesting shows. This evening I was watching a recording of "House" and fast-forwarding as usual when I happen to catch the name "Kiefer Sutherland" so rewound. If his name hadn't been mentioned here, I would never have spotted the preview.

Incidentally, along with the adverts on Sky, we also get "sponsored by" for some shows. Quite often I can't see the connection, and sometimes it's rather bizarre. "House" is sponsored by Schwarzkopf (shampoo) and "Touch" is sponsored by Sure (deodorant). unsure.gif
