All I have to say is please stop with rebooting shows. I saw that The Munsters will return but this time around its not funny. On the scary side. Then we have the Carrie Diaries: PreQuel to Sex in the City. Seth MacFarlane will have his own version of the Flintstones.....oh lord! and rounding out the madness we have another Beauty and The Beast plus Space 2099 which is based on Space 1999. I hope 2013 gets better TV programming

Makes you wonder how desperate they are, or incompetent. I agree, please, no more remakes, prequels, etc. Maybe all the creative ideas have run their course and gone full circle. Like our Ouroboros, a snake eating its tail. Ouroborous_Large.jpg

they are desparate; with DVRs, Tivos, 'on demand', nexflix [and others] competion for the viewers time is an all out war. even a small audience means advertiser dollars.

Wow, I thought they only made game show and reality tv? I hope MADMEN lives up to it's previous seasons when it returns later this month.

I think TV is getting way out of hand. The major commercial channels now show love making scenes in the bedroom. At one time they just walked into the room and closed the door, and left it up to the imagination, which to me is the way it should be. And, if it isn't a truck load of emotional drama, it's a load of violence, all the killing, blood and guts. I have gotten so picky these days as to what I watch.

I too hope Mad Men is as good this season as it has been. Eventually it will run its course, but for now, there's still plenty of room to maneuver.

Yes, years ago I saw full page bra ads in our newspapers that would have been soft porn when I was a child. I remember when no one bled in movies - not even when they got shot. Of course many years ago, people went to large arenas and watched people hacking each other with swords and feeding Christians to the lions...

So far Mad Men has been good. Hope it continues.

Cosmos was an awesome show.

It's a shame because TV, like other "inventions," are often derived from someone else's discovery or creation. A well thought out "remake" with appropriate credit given, could be quite good. I can only rave about "The Walking Dead." It's not an original idea, but they did a fine job of taking a lot of what I will call "B-movie elements" out, and gave it good drama.
