Walkabout Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 if there is a revolution the old, sick, handicapped and weak will be considered a waste of resourses and expendible.
Raven Wolf Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 I'm afraid you're right. 'Tis always been as such.
Raven Wolf Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 When asked if he was predicting the future, Ray Bradbury said, "No, I'm trying to prevent it." His humor, insight and beautiful writing will be missed. "We must move into the universe. Mankind must save itself. We must escape the danger of war and politics. We must become astronauts and go out into the universe and discover the God in ourselves.". Lovely quote, and lovely image. Where did the tree picture come from?
Raven Wolf Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 BTW.... "Blue", what proof is there to support any of those previous posts? In truth, we Don't Know. We Don't Know even if Aliens EXIST. (though I believe it is very possible) So, how can anyone have even the slightest clue what their intentions are, if they were even to find us interesting enough to visit.... and, if they were even capable of surviving in Earth's environment....not to mention somehow being able to survive long enough to make the trip from wherever they'd be coming from? "Independance Day", though very entertaining, is not what I'd call a likely chain of events. But, then, I don't know either! Nor does anyone have any proof that the world is going to turn into the book "1984". I met a guy online, from Canada, who was researching the Freemason's, and he compiled this whole YouTube movie production. It contained stuff that would have made even Fox Mulder shake his head, and say that was even too far fetched for HIM. It all boiled down to his group's belief that every man, woman, and child would be implanted with micro-chips, like the kinds we put in our dogs and cats today, and that people would WELCOME this. His group was predicting a breakdown of society that the Millennium group could only DREAM of. While being interesting topics for sci-fi shows, don't you think this is about as believable as Santa Claus?
Earthnut Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 Many NASA former employees have come forth and told their story that they say is true about the existence of aliens, including a couple astronauts. With billions of galaxies in the universe and billions of suns in those galaxies, and billions of solar systems around those suns, I have no doubt that they exist. There's just to much evidence of it in ancient cultures. The world is full of symbolism, and the world is also full of deception. Jesus said there would be wars and rumors of wars, but the main thing He said to take heed of is that you are not deceived. It's everywhere, and used for power and control as I am sure you all are aware. There are already medical micro-chips ready for implant, if they haven't already starting implanting them in people It's good in some way as long as it's just medical information to help save a life. There is always change in the air, and this year I am expecting the changes to be more dramatic, but it will not be the end of the world, only the end of most of the systems of men. Love a quote from one of our episodes, wish I could remember which one. World War III has already started. People always think that wars happen in the future but they really happen in the past. The fighting is just the inevitable result of events that have already occurred. Also love what Einstein said about war ~ I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.
Guest Blueboy Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 I am not espousing any particular belief or idea, merely observing and reporting, your man on the scene as we skate toward the edge; the strangeness leading up to perhaps the biggest fizz of all time, or, not.
Guest Blueboy Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 Ohoho but wait! Santa Claus you say? Why Child, do you not know of the true origin of Old St. Nick. Let us return for a moment, back into the damp, foggy past. Listen? Hear that? Those Bells. Ching Ching Ching CHINCHINg. Ching Ching Ching CHINCHINg. Ching Ching Ching CHINCHINg. Yes, a cadence that makes you feel at ease, luring you into a contemplative state. Now, the cover of the yurt is thrown back, and the Shaman comes. There, in the forest, grow many trees. But it is under the pine that the Shaman takes his treasure, and from the mushroom, which he sprinkles into a brew and offers to you, he opens for you the Shamanic Journey. Nearby the herd of Reindeer that the Shaman's people raise, mew among each other, sensing snow on the chill wind. Soon you will feel a mild intoxication, and when your eyes close, a tunnel will open before you, and then, the sky!!!. You might find soot on your clothing later, from your experience. Take your steed, and soar, into the other world, of wonder and discovery. That, my friend, is who Santa Claus is. And he and his kind still live, in the chill of the North, where they work their magic, in a world that has forgotten them. https://www.shamanswe...s-and-mushrooms [media=]
Guest Blueboy Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 Controversial bird flu study raises concerns News Services June 22, 2012 A controversial bird flu study, blocked from full publication for months because of biosecurity concerns, found that as few as five mutations might be enough to give H5N1 viruses the power to infect people and spread among them. It was published Thursday in the journal Science. And new research, which played a role in reversing the initial ban on full publication of the study, says viruses with two of those changes are already cropping up regularly in nature. That means that if bird flu viruses were able to pick up three specific additional mutations, they might be able to infect human respiratory tracts and trigger a pandemic. There is no current way to gauge whether that will happen. But the second paper says based on mathematical modelling it must be considered "a potentially serious threat." © Copyright © Postmedia News
Earthnut Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 Very threatening. My question is with its origin. Are they a mutation from polution, or man made? Could some, it not all, of it be caused from the chemicals they are spraying in the atmosphere all over the world? They're called "Chemtrails." Enjoyed watching the video. I had heard about the mushrooms, but not the reindeer urine. Who knows, maybe they actually did fly.
Elders (Moderators) Libby Posted June 22, 2012 Elders (Moderators) Posted June 22, 2012 As you know, Earthnut, I don't accept the chemtrails idea, but I can understand that once the suspicion is there, it's difficult to see it any other way. A better delivery system would be the water supply, and there have been cases of accidental contamination - though some of those should be described as "accidental" contamination, because some were cases of sheer stupidity and some were cases of people not wanting to spend money to prevent contamination. Another possibility of teotwawki is if the banking computers go haywire, which is what's happening currently in the UK: https://www.bbc.co.uk...siness-18547149 and is badly affecting people who don't have a monetary buffer. Of course, we'll never be told how this problem occurred, but the banks should have rigorous procedures and back-up protocols in place to have prevented this in the first place. I just hope this is a case of computer problems/incompetency, rather than hackers.
