Money Raised And New Scripts

Hi all

The auction of Lance Henriksen's Season 1 scripts has raised £3,280 for the international humanitarian charity, Plan International. (That is £3,862 gross and with £582.97 of costs - postage, packing, eBay & Paypal fees etc - taken out). Wow! This will go direct to Plan's Child Trafficking campaign.

Sales of Season 2 scripts are due to start at 5:00 BST (that's about 10pm tonight in LA and 1am in New York - I'm trying to make it easier for US fans!), with two more scripts just up. MONSTER & A SINGLE BLADE OF GRASS:

You haven't missed them yet, don't worry! I have a Curse Of Frank Black script and its a joy to behold, the extra goodness coming from the anecdotes and notes by M&W.

The Old Man - I'm looking forward to The Curse of Frank Black in the auction (should be this weekend) although if the start and end time is the same as the current auction it will be more tougher in bidding again!

I did think though the other day that these signed scripts are the shooting scripts and not the scripts with scenes cut for the televised version. I was thinking about the S1 episode Covenant (re: a thread on the boards here) with this. However these were the scripts for the filming and what we saw on screen anyway so that's great. Hope it dosen't sound like I'm complaining because it's rather the opposite.

I'm not too experienced on this I have to say but from what you mention I'd say they are shooting scripts as some have had maps and directions included to filming locations.

Those are the lots that I like, the ones with maps along with shooting papers with the actual script.

TCOFB - Thanks. This one I really want to get but if the auction starts at 5 am (BST) again I doubt I'll have a chance. But I shouldn't be defeatist.
